This is a lovely park where in the summer you can go swimming, have picnics in the pavillions, there's a playground for children, who can also feed the ducks and swans and after Thanksgiving there's Lights on the Lake which is absolutely beautiful.

Lake Shore Park was a favorite of my family as we were growing up. We would go sled riding down the big hills in the winter and ice skate as well on one particular pond. I know you can still sled ride and every Christmas, the park has a huge drive-through-the-park light display called Lights on the Lake. The cost is 5 dollars per car...very nice and it will put you in the holiday spirit. Lake Shore Park also has a small sandy beach so you can swim in Lake Erie during the summer months. There is also a classic car show every Sunday through out the summer. Five pavilions are also available with views for family picnics. There is a fenced playground for children as well. For the fishermen or "just boaters", there is a public boat launch and close by is a bait shop.

We are here several times a year whether it's feeding the ducks, geese and swan at the duck pond, walking up to see the peacocks or having a family picnic. We have our family reunions here, there is lots of parking. They have 5 pavillions, also various picnic tables set up around the park to enjoy eating or just sitting down. There is a boat launch, a nice play ground area for the kids, good food at the concession stand. If you play disc golf they have a 18 hole course. There is lots to do here. On Sundays May 26th thru Oct. 5pm-8:30pm They have the Lake Shore Cruisers, the old classic car show. Throughout the year they have different events. The Ashtabula Lighthouse Society holds an Annual Fish Fry. Longest Day of Play (for kids), Crafts in the Park (Craft Show) and the Annual Rib Burn off in Sept.

Rolling hills that also sport a Disc Golf 'course' on the undulating terrain. The winding road thru this beautiful park goes by a large pond where you can feed the Swans. Small beach. Pavilions for eating. Wonderful "Lights on the Lake" you drive thru in Christmas season.
