The services at Marios are average, and the prices are as high as New York City. Most importantly, you can't relax in this 100+ year old building. You can hear everything in every room, and the building appears to be falling apart. Nothing seems cleaned. There wasn't a good selection of nail polish for main-pedis. Take your money and go somewhere else!

the spa is very close for me. I go only to have manicures. I have a regular manicurist who I highly recommend. her name is tamara. I have seen others getting good service.

I travel for a living and when I have an extra moment, I treat myself to a few hours at a spa. With that said, I've had a lot of interesting experiences some amazing and some not so good. When I'm going to the spa, I look at many different variables. The most important one being the overall service. I first visited Mario's about 25 years ago. It was an old charming house with lots of creaky floors. It hasn't changed. It's almost like going back to Disney, you feel like you've stepped back in time( for me age 14). Anyway, I was concerned with the reviews posted so my expectations were low. The changing & waiting room could use an update but the treatment rooms were just fine. We had a massage, facial and spa lunch. Mario has an excellent staff most of them employed for 20 years or more. The European/Russian/US staff knows what they are doing and we were not disappointed. The massage and facial were excellent and the lunch (home made bread)was delicious. It was a great way to spend a rainy/snowy/dark afternoon in northeast Ohio. ...I know it's only October...;(

We booked a bachelorette party spa day, and wanted to pay for the bride's service separately (which we were told was not a problem) On the day of it was difficult to find the spa and where to park, no signage. When we walked in side we saw fountains with no way, which fountain noise is relaxing. When we checked in, they had some of the girl's services written down wrong. The led us upstairs to a lounge, where we waited for about 15 minutes. I had a pedi which was not relaxing at all. VERY dissapointed that the chairs has not massage. They also had a slim picking for nail polish color. Also the pedi was not worth the money i paid, for a spa pedi. nail polish is on my skin around my toes. The lady doing mine talked almost the whole pedi to the other lady. When we went to pay they had written down payments wrong and the lady at the counter was rude and unhelpful. I will not be going back.

My husband bought me a gift certificate for my birthday. It was a promo. deal and expired in 6 months, he was not told that at the time of purchase. So, I made the appointment for a mani. and pedi. Upon arrival I found the old house to be pretty damn gross looking! As I walked through the doors I found the rest of the place to be pretty damn gross as well! The pedi. was "o.k" to say the least and the girl was very "chatty" and "oppionated". The pedi. chairs did not massage, and the foot tub appeared run down and old. The services I will rate a 4 out of 10, the spa itself a 1 out of 10! The polish selection was very scant and dusty, dirty, old, gross. Run for the hills! Don't waste your time or money! To the owners of Marios......knock this place down and go out of business because "business owners" you are NOT!!!!!!!!
