This winery has limited food choices and wine that is more expensive than we like--sure wish they had a happy hour. They only have some appetizers, so don't expect a full meal here. It's pleasant to sit outside in the warmer weather though, because the grounds are so pretty.

It was on impulse that we stopped here - saw their sign from Chillicothe Rd. The winery staff said the owner decided to put in a winery to showcase his talent and vision for landscaping. The winery does share space and grounds with DTR business, "landscaping visionaries".The gardens are absolutely beautiful! Would make you think you were in a botanical or arboretum. It was drizzly when we came so could not walk around more as I wanted. The winery offers 2 types of wine flight/sampling, 6 choices of 2 oz pours: white/red sweet ($13) or premium white/red dry ($16). You cannot choose which 6 types of wine you want to sample. It is a bit pricey and I commented that person should be able to choose their own 6.My husband and I decided to share the premium red/white dry (chardonnay, pinot grigio, merlot, shiraz, cab sauv, cab reserve). They were all very good and the bottles were ranging from $20 - $34 price.Even if you are not into wine, stop and see the beautiful gardens.

Dear “Beautiful setting for poor dining experience”,While it is difficult to hear criticism we value your feedback as this allows us to reflect upon systems in place and make the necessary corrections. Our Goal is to create a magical and unique setting for our guests to enjoy and we are saddened that this was not your experience. We have taken the necessary steps to make our guests experience our number one priority. We have two major additions to our ThornCreek Winery family, a new General Manager and a new Winemaker! Ambiance is very much like a California winery. The wine is good and reasonably priced but the food menu is very limited. It is very cozy and romantic for a date.

Nice venue for a wedding. DON'T wear any type of high heeled shoe. Combination of grass, gravel and rocks made it hard to walk around and many heels were ruined by the gravel. Food was good, wine was decent. Don't order the vegetarian option- just a plate of under-seasoned noodles, cheese and some vegetables. The steak was excellent and the chicken was flavorful. The staff was very friendly and helpful when my camera went missing.

Went to Mothers Day brunch at the winery. The guys had short ribs and the girls had chicken. Food was awesome as was the service. We have been there many other times and the food and service is always excellent. Their wine is very good and they have a small beer selection as well. In the summer they have a beautiful patio where they usually have entertainment or you can go downstairs in the colder months. I definitely recommend it for a great time.

On Tuesday I had been to this place with my team - Personally for me it was a disastrous and harrowing experience. I had ordered for Veg Chilli Bar & I was served "beef" chilli bar !!. When serving they did not even take care to point it out to me that they are not serving what I had ordered for ! Please note that consuming beef is against my religion & this dinner will be personal low for me for my entire life. I cannot forgive myself for visiting your place & trusting their menu & waiters. When I gave this feedback to manager, she accepted that she had noted "Vegetarian" in my order but kitchen made a mistake. She also said that since she did not serve, she could not double check if I am being served with what I had ordered for.I have requested them to correct processes so that someone else does not go through this emotional trauma I am going through at this point in time. At-the-very-least they should ensure to serve what is being ordered for. Also it is surprising to note that you they not have any formal feedback mechanism ! I had dropped a note to GM & I got reply after almost 40+ hours - That too didnt sound apologetic, instead he requested me to call on his cell !!

We really enjoy stopping here to have a bottle wine to relax, it is a very cozy place inside and the outside is just so nice. It has a great atmosphere here and the wine is very good. I do have to say the food is very expensive here from other wineries we have been too. It is good but very expensive. They have a wonderful fireplace and great seating here. They do have live music on the weekends which is great. It is always busy here on the weekends so go early in the fall, spring or winter as the inside gets very crowed. In the summer you can always sit outside so there is more room. The staff is always friendly and very helpful with the wine. Great Saturday afternoon to just go and have a bottle of wine and relax.

My son turned 50 and he wanted to take the adults some place he thought we would all enjoy. We did! A few weren't so certain a winery in the wintertime was the best place but ThornCreek definitely proved them wrong. Let's be frank, the wine is okay, in fact some of the ladies enjoyed it immensely, but IMHO it tasted a bit like grape juice. The food was delicious. We had a wide range and everything was better than expected. The gentleman waiting on us was terrific and made it a great time for all. The room was delightful with a nice fire on one end that sparked up the atmosphere. At the end our host presented our "birthday boy" with a huge bowl of ice cream, candle, and enough big cookies for all to enjoy. A great fun place and we will return!

Very cozy and comfortable. The server was generous and knowledgeable. My friend and I decided on a nice red wine and enjoyed a decadent slice of pumpkin cheesecake and ice cream while sitting on a comfy couch situated in front of a lovely fireplace. The quiet background music and soft sounds of other customers talking was so pleasant we didn't leave for over two hours. Wonderful atmosphere, service and wines.

Warm, comfortable atmosphere! The wine server was very personable and helpful. Food was to die for! Portions were plenty and prices reasonable. We will comeback!

I came with friends to see the entertainment that was performing on a friday. Management kept telling him to turn volume down. The volume was fine. Management needs to be a little less stuffy. Foods are very expensive for average.

My husband and I went to ThornCreek Winery on Saturday. We meet our friends there for her birthday. We sat outside but it was a little cool. There was live music outside but it was just a little too chilly for us to stay out. Inside they had a nice fire going and it was nicely crowded. Plenty of seating and the staff was very friendly. The wine was good too! Overall it was a nice visit and we would go again.
