We did the wine tasting living social deal and had a blast! Patrick, the vintner, was laid back, unpretentious and friendly. He answered all the questions we had and chatted with us, telling us about each of the wine varieties they make as he poured. The wines were fantastic (we both loved the sweet red and each purchased a bottle of it to enjoy at home) and the venue/location was very warm and relaxing. The cheese plate (which came with the deal too) was delightful. We are not wine drinkers but found all the varieties to be very pleasing, even to the inexperienced. It's worth the drive to be in a beautiful pastoral setting, with great wine, cheese and conversation.

I got a living social voucher earlier in the year for this winery and finally got to use it a couple weeks ago. When we got there we were greeted by the owner's dog, who was so friendly and sweet. The voucher included a cheese tray, wine tasting and etched glasses. The owners were lovely. The cheese tray was amazing especially the pickled vegetables. The wine was pretty decent. We left with one of the dessert wines that my guy and I loved. The place felt cozy and the experience was so personal. There were only six people in the place and we were all having one conversation amongst the group. Bathrooms are spacious and really clean. The winery is on a farm so they sell chicken and duck eggs. I got some of both which tasted amazing and fresh. I look forward to returning. They have a bed and breakfast as well, maybe we will stay the night.
