This was a clean and quiet camp ground. The other campers and staff were all friendly. The play grounds were ok. Close to the beach. All and all it's a good place to camp.

This was our first time staying at the campgrounds at Delaware State Park. It's a very lovely setting. The drive back into the campgrounds is a bit long, but since you're trying to get away from civilization I guess that's a plus. We tried to walk one of the paths down to the water but found that it was taken over by poison ivy...as was the path along the boat ramp at the marina. The lake itself isn't all that great. There's a huge no wake zone that makes it kind of a drag to those of us with boats and jetskis. The beach and restrooms are nice and clean, however.Otherwise, it was a great, inexpensive trip.

My wife and I spent the weekend tent-camping here. The setting is lovely. We had a great time cooking out, looking up at the stars, kayaking on the reservoir, and hanging out in the hammock. Delaware is a close drive too, so that made for a fun evening. The camp office didn't seem to be open all weekend though. I got the distinct impression that I was a fool for having reserved and paid for a campsite when there was no official presence there. A man who had rented a yurt finally left after several hours of waiting. We stayed and enjoyed ourselves. But I would call first and talk to a human, because we were hoodwinked by the website.
