there is real potential here - the decor is nice, it is small and inviting, and the beer selection is good. But if we go to hear music, it is often so loud that we have to leave. Thus, we only go for music when it is a band we really want to see. And even then, we have had to leave. Which is a shame as there is a $10/per person cover charge. So we don't go all that often. Still - one hopes it is a success and that they figure out how to have live music in a small space without blasting folks out of the room.

The Owner: Mickey goes out of his way to Meet & Great his clientel, he really seems to care about your experience at his three venues that are all in the same Lakewood block. Good food, great service, and a Wait Staff that is well trained so that you may relax and enjoy ... And,you wlii!

We went here on an evening when there was no music. I understand that things (prices) are different when there is music....Sat at bar, not crowded at all. A spacious room with bandstand, appeared to be ample tables. This was happy hour and we had a manhattan each, and the bartender did them correctly, a very pleasant surprise. We shared a flatbread and it was very good. I would suggest going here during the week prior to 7pm for a decent value. I will be going back again when there is music. If there is a cover, and then an additional upcharge on drinks, I would object (per some the the reviews). This would prevent me from returning, as there are enough entertainment options locally.

I was excited to be going to Vosh for the first time. Unfortunately, the service made my experience very frustrating. We sat at one of the tables. As this was my first time, I watched waitresses provide menus and food and drink services to the tables. I watched the same waitress service the tables in our section and completely walk by our table and ignore our table to proceed to service new sit down customers that sat down after us in our section as we still sat at a table with no menus. Even a hand wave or calling her to try to get her attention came up unsuccessful as she acted like our table didn't even exist. Took 25 minutes before I had to hunt down one of the staff members there to see if anyone could service us. Staff member apologized for our inconvenience and thought the waitress in our section had serviced us, as I replied she has been servicing everyone in her section but us!!! Very frustrating as all I wanted was a relaxing night of dinner and music and their service fell short.

A wonderful place to visit after dinner at Georgetown!! My husband and I love to have dinner at Georgetown (which is next door and attached) and then work it off by dancing the night away at Vosh. Vosh has great entertainment and a fun, beautiful atmoshpere. For those of us who haven't danced for awhile, Vosh will get you back into the groove. The clientele is a mix of ages due to the variety of bands Mickey (the owner) hires. You also may see some celebs frequenting Vosh. We have enjoyed Vosh several times and continue to go back for great entertainment!

The entertainment at Vosh is outstanding. This is in no part due to the club owner, Mickey.The performers do not get paid by the club. Our $10 cover charge is the sole source of their pay.We recently discovered that Mickey owns the adjoining restaurant. His customers pay for their dinners. Mickey gives them VIP cards that get them into the club FREE. Where they pay Mickey for their drinks.So Mickey gets the dinner money and the drinks money and the performers get squat.

This is a great new Jazz Club. Classy but casual enough that it's not stuffy. Great for dancing and the bar is finely stocked. Makes a great evening.
