This is a great place to take the kids or go on a date. Inexpensive compaired to the movie theater. They play 2 movies. They have a nice concession stand offering lots of snacks and drinks. It's like your stepping back into the 50s. Clean as pin and well kept. The sky view is always a summer tradition for our family. Take your own snacks but no boxed pizza allowed. Chairs ,blankets air mattress in the back of truck, heck even go in your pjs. They are family friendly place, sometimes having activities for the kids between the movies. Step back to the 50s and enjoy a star filled sky while watching a movie. Great fun!!!!

A great place to have some family fun! Prices are very reasonable for both tickets and concessions. Please be considerate of other movie goers, though. If you need to leave during the movie, drive with your parking lights on until out of parking lot!

The idea of going to a drive in is fun. It's a good way to take the kids out. However, for a crew that drives around enforcing your vehicle spacing like drill sargeants, I was disappointed that they say nothing about the flow of smoke present. I would prefer they at least limit smokers to one area as they separate suv's from cars. I would be much more likely to go back if I knew the smoke was restricted.

If you want a little bit of nostalgia and you monitor age appropriate movies for your youngsters or just want to go watch something for older ages this is a great place to visit. We have two little ones 5 and 7 years old. Whenever there is a good age appropriate movie here we go. The kids love this place and we always enjoy the time spent. If you arw going on the weekend you need to get there an hour or more before 7p because the cars start lining up. The prices for entry and food are very reasonable and the staff is polite. If you arw visiting Lancaster Ohio for any reason and there is a decent movie showing you should check this place out.

Not many of these left in the USA. Skyview is one of the only ones left and probably the only one for many miles who has updated their projector. They use the new digital projectors with better contrast and details. They still use the old fashioned speakers on the post but also offer the convenience of radio transmitted audio.Their snack bar is great and surprisingly, reasonably priced. They have the usual typical driven-in fare, hot dogs, burgers, pizza, fish, fries, popcorn. You know, all the good stuff that's bad for you. The owner is really good about patrolling the area on his golf cart to keep kids from running amok. There's a playground towards the front and there's usually a DJ playing oldies during the peak summer weekends. With the prices of movies these days, Skyview is a great bargain in offering a double feature for less than the price of a single ticket at the theater.

Cost is exceptionally low, all show are double features, there are a few triple features and a Halloween special feature with trick or treating. Foods considered to be "Theater" foods such as candy, soda, and popcorn are much more affordable. For the price of a large regular theater popcorn with extra butter and a large soda, I can purchase two large popcorn tubs and three sodas at Skyview. The fried pickles are excellent! A family of four was $19 for two adults and two children (ages 3 and 7), I paid $26 for one adult for the last movie I watched in a regular theater. there are two large grassy areas, one under the screen and one in the back of the parking area for children to run around in before the first movie starts. No outside Pizza can be brought in. Some times the concession lines are long and slow. The FM transmitter fades in and out and does not always work on high end car stereos or on portable devices. The guy on the golf cart who drives around enforcing parking and theater policies is really annoying and rude. The gentleman that drives the cart, polices the restroom s as well, I was denied access to the men's to room to allow my daughter to use the facilities even though I was there alone with my two children. A woman who overheard the conversation offered to take my daughter into the ladies room to use the restroom. All bathroom are located in the projection building and at the front of the theater parking area. there are no bathrooms in the rear of the theater, walking with small children 400 or more feet can be a risky ordeal, especially if you are turned away at the bathroom door because you are not the same gender as your child. Smoking is really bothersome and there are no refunds for bad weather. If you leave you must repay to enter. Lines getting into the theater are long, sometimes two or three miles long. Patrons must enter from southbound lane of traffic on Main Street, if you are heading north bound, you must find the end of the line and turn around to enter the theater. Police officers refuse Northbound lane entry and direct traffic to the "end" of the southbound lane line. Some vehicles are considered to be a van or an SUV and given an orange sheet designating where that vehicle can park inside the theater. A Mazda 5 is much lower and smaller than a Dodge Caravan or a full sized pickup truck, but it is forced to park in areas where patrons cannot see over or around larger vehicles in front of it. This is most prevalent on nights were the theater is full and patrons do not come at least an hour and a half before the movie starts. I like the Skyview Drive-In Theater even with its nuisances, it is a good value and my family and friends enjoy going there.

So much fun to go to a drive in movie, rare to find these days. Family oriented and a perfect place to spend a summer evening, mostly family friendly movies, as well. Always busy, always enjoyable!

The Skyview is one of a few drive-in movie theaters left these days where you can enjoy a couple of recently released movies and enjoy reasonably priced snacks from the snack bar. The drive-in is located just on the edge of town where the screen stands high above the neighboring cornfields. The management takes pride is providing a clean and safe environment for all who attend the shows. Go early if the weather is nice and the feature is new, crowds line-up early. The drive-in has recently updated its screen projection and sound system which makes this experience a must do.

This wonderful establishment has been in our own back yard here in Fairfield county for years. We locals are so very lucky to have a bygone era icon still around to share the old time fun with our kids and grandchildren. It has a nice little play ground, clean indoor restrooms, and a pleasant staff. This is a must do for any and all big city visitors.
