Beautiful scenery and wonderful waterfalls abound. Snow is melting, now is the best time to see the rushing water.

We took a short trip to Hocking Hills this winter and it was lovely! I had been there as a child, but my son and fiancé had never been! We had a wonderful time hiking and seeing the frozen waterfalls! Conkels Hollow and Ash Cave are perfect for the little ones!I 100% recommend Good Earth Cabins! They checked in with us before, during, and after our stay to make sure we were accommodated to our liking! Fonda made sure everything was perfect during our stay and even made special accommodations for us without question! I have never had such wonderful hospitality from a vacation company as I did with Fonda at Good Earth Cabins! We will never book with any other company while staying in Hocking Hills! Our cabin was "The Buckstone" and the cabin and the beautiful view from the front porch and hot tub was just amazingly peaceful! Just an overall amazing experience!

Old Mans Caves Chalets is a great place to go. Shopping, caves, etc. It is a very peaceful place. We have stayed with them over 10 times. You can find lots to do or do nothing!

We have had the opportunity to experience this area twice and have not come up disappointed at all. We revisited places where we had been during our first trip and some of it is like experiencing it for the 1st time. With all the trails running in many directions, you can get a lot of exercise along with enjoying all the beautiful scenery. We know that another trip will be in our plans before too long.

If you love the outdoors and hiking you'll love the big park. Many trails in each section. I've been here in every season and I always have a wonderful time. In the winter it's extra thrilling because of the ice and snow so use caution and common sense.Don't forget the kid's and furry ones too, they'll enjoy it as much as you!

Hocking hills is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The best thing is it's only an hour from my house. If you love the outdoors and hiking this place is for you. There are several different cave trails to explore. The state park camp ground is # 1 In my book!! Always clean bathrooms and spacious camp sites and they have a pool. There is also a pool at the lodge and a restaurant. The restaurant is great. Ash cave and conkles hollow is an easy walk. Great for people with strollers or wheelchairs. Conkles hollow and ash cave have a rim trail which Conkles hollow is my favorite in the fall!! Old mans cave, cedar falls, rock house, cantwell cliffs are great hiking also. There are trails that go from one cave to another. The caves aren't deep caves .. More like huge rock over hangs. Lots of water falls at different attractions.The mossy rocks, fern covered woods are so peaceful and beautiful. Each season if a wonderful sight. This area was our family vacation for years. We camped and hiked and explored, enjoying nature and family time. Now we mostly just visit as our has grown up. There are many cabins to rent but they are pricey but sure there is one for everyones budget. Hocking hills is romanic for couples and for family fun and for peace and solidarity. If you live in Ohio or visiting check out. Pack a picnic or hot chocolate and doughnuts whatever the season. Enjoy Ohios best natural heaven on earth.

Loved it. Hiked to old mans cave, ash cave and, cedar fall. The park had nice trails for hiking and the scenery was beautiful. Will go back !!

Take advantage of park trail maps to enjoy hikes at your ability level from long distances to short walks there is something for everyone.

I have been coming to Hocking Hills since I was a young girl. All of the attractions are worth seeing, but our favorite is Rock House because of all the hiking trails. If you can, visit in the Spring, Winter or Fall so that the crowds are minimized, especially during the week. We like to rent a local cabin (Lazy Lanes are good, as are the ones in the State Park) and stay during the week. Be sure to check out The Ridge Inn Restaurant in Laurelville as well (see my review for it). This entire area of Ohio is gorgeous. Don't be afraid to check out less know attractions such as Clear Creek Park of Rock Bridge as well.

Hocking Hills State Park, located near Logan, Ohio, is a great place to enjoy nature while taking hikes at several different locations throughout the park. The campground is also located near some trails. The major trails are Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs, Conkle's Hollow, and Cedar Falls. Incredible beauty with every step. We have visited in the summer and the fall. I can only imagine what winter would be like with a light snow covering the area.Besides the campground, there are numerous cabins to stay in throughout the area.

Old man's cave is the most popular area here & there is a shelter with small demonstration area and bathrooms. Trails are marked. Looks like there has been recent work completed & some areas closed off. Is very beautiful area. There is a large parking area. The trails off here may be difficult for older folks or young kids.

I did hiking here at Hocking Hills in summertime one year. Very nice to hiking and climbing up on rocks. A beautiful place to enjoy nature has you are hiking. I differently will go back and do more hiking. I don't have any dislike about this place.

I've grown up in the area. Even though I've been there hundreds of times it never gets old. I love this area. It's beautiful and a great hike.
