Wonderful Staff! Very Knowledgeable. Will have to plan another visit in the near future as we didn't have the time to see everything.

Lots of history of early Dayton and early aviation history. MPS has done an excellent job of restoring and telling the stories. The Park Rangers were very friendly, helpful and informative.

We really had a blast here. The volunteers were all very friendly and knowledgeable. One of them even took photos on our camera so my wife could video my flight with her phone. Flying in the 1910 Wright B Flyer was great. The FAA has required a few modifications, but you still get the feel. While the flight is short, I felt like it was worth every penny, and it's going to a worthwhile cause in preserving this great airplane!

If you have the time I would go and take a friend to talk about all the exhibits at the museum. I liked the women in aviation exhibit the most. I disliked not being able to find the restroom. *Ask for help early.

very interesting for all ages when you come to Dayton, a good place to visit, and all people will like it.

Like walking through the pages of a history book. Simply amazing and especially for the price!!! FREE. I have been back a few times now and since I am now a resident of Dayton, we are planning routine trips!

The free museum is located at a small airport and the museum itself is quite small. But... go on a morning with good weather and the replica 1911 Wright B Flyer may be flying. Even better... for $ 100, you can get a short flight in the plane. For the aviation buff, something not to miss.

Come to see a large group of volunteers bring the history of flight to life. There isn't much to see on a bad weather day, but when the weather is nice, you can see the volunteers fly the aircraft. For a $100 they will even take you up for a ride.To visit is Free, however, to keep this going for future generations, at least make a small donation. Give up that $4 Starbucks or pack of cigarettes and support a good cause.

We visited the Wright B Flyer as part of the National Aviation Heritage Area. We are glad that we did. This is a small exhibit with limited hours. Its main displays are a look-alike of the 1911 Wright “B” and a Model T. Ford. It is staffed by volunteers. The guide gave us an excellent tour during which he explained the airplane and car, how they compares to the originals, when and where it is used and the science of how an aircraft obtains the necessary lift. Located at the Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport by Dayton Mall at I- 75 Exit 44 it is easy to get to and definitely worth a stop.

It was a great place to take a 2 year old for an outing on a frigid morning, while Mom & new baby were still on the hospital.

I loved this museum. The staff is very knowledgeable . You can spend a one good day and not complain about it at all. If you are a history freak like me. There are different sections so you can choose from the once that you want to see. If you are cut short on time that won't be a problem as well. This is a must see if you are in the area. I will like to visit again just because you can't get enough in one day.

The museum is just huge, but separated in a convenient way for touring. The volunteer staff is incredible and very informative. If you're in the area it's definitely a must see if you appreciate aviation history. Just allow yourself enough time to really appreciate the displays.

This is a fantastic facility. just off of an active Air Force Base, the museum is full of aeornautical history. Admission is free, so for families on a budget, this is a great place to spend a day. Museum is nicely sectioned so you can see the parts that most interest you.. early aviation, WWII, cold war era, space exploration. We always try to spend at least a couple of hours here each time we're in the area.
