This was our first experience of car meet in the USA. The park staff, facilities and accessiblity were excellent we thought. The food was very reasonably priced compared to say baseball or football stadiums. The $1/lb ice cream was a stand out. Try sharing one first time you buy. The event staff kept the cars running through very quickly and made for a fast paced event. There was no assigned seating for this "small" event so you could move around and watch from different areas which was great. We would definitely come back.

Despite the rain on Saturday, it was a great weekend at Summit. The track staff is helpful and friendly, the $1 pound of ice cream is fantastic. My only complaint is the lack of regular bathrooms on the Summit side of the track. There are only portable toilets and, while they are clean, permanent facilities would be nice. Seems to me that the park owners need to do an upgrade to their facilities. Other than that, a great place to visit.

Nice track and nice people. We had a great experience the entire week-end. The only reason that I didn't rate it excellent is because there are only porta-potties on the Summit (west) sde of the track where we were sitting. There weren't enough and they got pretty disgusting. I definitley would have gotten tickets on the other side of the track if I had known. Also, the pits and the famous dollar ice cream were the east side. Keep that in mind when purchasing tickets.

Loved the drag races, the cheap ice cream, but they need to up the quantity of portable toilets and distribute them at more locations around the park.

Easy access. No traffic jams getting into and out of the facility for 3,000+ Power Tour participants. Fabulous track facility.

We were here for the NHRA drag racing Nationals, July 5-6, 2014. After reading the reviews about the limited 'flush' bathrooms, lack of shade, cost of water and other such amenities, I was worried. Luckily for us, the weather was atypically cool for July (in the 70-80s) so I didn't melt or fry as long as I kept the sunscreen on. The ladies bathroom lines moved fast, there was always staff in there cleaning the stalls and I was able to fill my water bottle at the sink. NO drinking fountains. The fair food was typical, the ice cream was surprisingly good and cheap ($1 @ 1#), although a pound of ice cream seemed a bit gluttonous, I saw lots of people eating it all up. We had to toss 3/4s of ours because it was just too much to eat. We felt bad about wasting it and should have shared one but couldn't agree on a flavor. The place appeared to be a tightly run ship and well-staffed and the parking situation didn't seem too bad. I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes and walk the pits because the racers are really accessible and friendly. I hated breathing the burn-outs and nitromethane smoke but I accepted it as a rite of passage. LOTS of people were smoking cigarettes in the grandstands although it was against the rules. At one time we had 7-10 people chain-smoking in front and upwind of us. Several patrons were offended by this discourtesy, as were we, (my boyfriend smokes but would leave the grandstand because he respects his smoking), but there really wasn't anything we could do.

I would like to thank Bill Bader, Kurt Johnson and Melissa Hillman. We have been comint to Summit Motorsports Park for the NHRA national race for years with a group of famly and friends that keeps getting bigger every year. A weekend at Summit is an excellent value when compaired to almost every other professional sprots event. This year they made some changes to the campgrounds and our sites got moved down to a location that was not as nice as we had in the past. I thought I would let them know to make sure we could get the same sites back next year. We talked to Mellissa and she realized a small mistake had been made when the sites got numberd but would make sure we were happy. Bill Bader the track owner and Kurt Johnson the track manager both came over to the campgrounds and offerd to dowhatever it took to make sure we were 100% satisfied. They aranged to move all 22 of us with 6 motor homes to amazing campsites( not an easy thing to do at a sold out event).I know how busy they were setting up for the weekend so it was amazing they took the time to make suresome campers from Canada were well taken care of. This kind of customer service is getting hard to find and you can tell by how clean and well kept the facility is that it is a famly businessthat they take great pride in running! Thanks! And we will see you next year! The Orser family and freinds.

This is one of the most cleanest race tracks! They know how to treat fans and they always think of the fans! Close to Cleveland which is great! Love the NHRA event there around the 4th of July! Awesome fireworks!! Also Night Under Fire is a must!!

Always have a good time at Summit Motorsports Park. Family atmosphere. No shortage of amenities in the area which makes it a great mini vacation when we visit.

The roar of the engines is enough to get any heart pumping! This is a great place for fun. Family friendly and don't forget to check out the ice cream stand there too!

My husband and I really enjoyed Blue Suede Cruise in July. It was a relaxing afternoon of classic drag racing. The Woman's World tent was filled with fun shopping and a few classes as well. We never miss Night Under Fire. We are always impressed with the variety of racing, the stunts, and definitely the most impressive fireworks I have ever seen! Summit Motor Sports Park never disappoints, they are a class act all the way. Worth the drive every time.

This is by far the best dracing venue we have ever been to. This is top-shelf all the way. Clean and very well ran. The only thing that wold be negative is that the admission cost was quite a bit higher than in past years. Not sure if this is a Summit or the events decision. Great track and still can't beat the $1/lb. ice cream!
