Located off Rt 42 in Sharonville (Exit 46 on I-275), this is one of the Hamilton County parks. You have to pay to enter - $3 for one day or $10 for an annual pass. It's a mid-sized park with picnic areas, a lake that has a walking/bike path about 3 miles long, a children's play area, a gorge trail and a parcours trail. Unfortunately, part of the path around the lake is under I-275 and is quite noisy. At the lake, fishing is permitted and paddle boats are available for rent in the summer. Some of the parcours stations are showing their age and could use a little maintenance. An 18-hole golf course is at one end of the park and it's pretty challenging. Inside the park you can also find Heritage Village, a recreation of a 19th century Ohio town. There is an extra fee for this exhibit because even though it's in the park, it is a separate operation. Tours are given and special events are held here but consult their website for dates and times as they vary with the season. If you live in the area, the $10 annual fee is a smart choice since you'll probably come here often. A great outdoor experience.

I am actually looking to move to the area; as my s.o. lives in the area. So we've been venturing a lot with the kids to get to know the area, and he brought us here. We loved it, I can't wait to go back!

This place is huge and includes a lake with paddle boats and an awesome free water park area for the kids. You can walk for days through the trees, there are pavilions everywhere, take a picnic lunch. The river is out of a story book, as is most of the scenery. There is also an indoor play area here which we didn't use as there was a large group of day camp kids there, but it looked great. There is food on site by the paddle boat rentals, VERY reasonably priced. You need to plan on spending a few hours and relaxing at this one, it's amazin!

My family thoroughly enjoyed a couple hours-long visit to Sharon Woods park during our travels to the Blue Ash area. There's a nice playground and refreshment stand just off the road. The lake is beautiful, with paddle boats and plenty of ducks. The map showed plenty more activities, which we plan to take advantage of if/when we're back in the area. If you have a couple hours to spend somewhere and you want to let the kids have some fun (and burn off some energy), then I recommend Sharon Woods park.

Sharon Woods is one of the gems of the Hamilton County Park District. I have mostly walked around it, but it is also good for picnics.

Wish I had known how amazing it was before we arrived. We didn't have time to rent a peddle boat or do the museum. Very clean and pretty. Son loved the big outdoor playground and small splash area.

Its been a long time since I golfed the Sharon Woods course.I forgot how fabulously hilly it is!The course was in great shape this July and the play moved right along on a late Saturday afternoon.I really like the 8th hole - reminds me of cliff hole at Penninsula State Park in Wisconsin's Door County.Great to be back - hope to return sooner this time.

We visited here recently for the Holiday in Lights at Sharon Woods. It is a fantastic experience and we are planning on making it a family tradition every year at Christmas. It is all about timing and getting there before the big crowd gets there and you have to wait to get in. The park is utilized very nicely to enjoy the rolling hills with a wonderful display of lights.

Nice walking path. Quiet, peaceful. Good park to ride bikes, too. There is a really picture-perfect lake to rent boats. Very nice campground.

Walk the George trail to see waterfall and play in creek. Look for fossils and crawdads. Kids loved it 12,10 and 5 year old had a blast playing in water by waterfalls. Very cheap fun for three dollars to get in park.

Sharan Woods has a 2.5 mi jogging/walking loop in addition to several childrens playgrounds, an indoor nature center complete with reptile display, the Gorge Trail (our favorite) that is a moderate 0.7 mi walk along the stream with multiple waterfalls and rapids. Great place to be active with the family (pets included).

This park has green, beautiful walking paths around mature trees with multiple creeks and small waterfalls. It's perfect for a slow nature stroll or a fast-paced jog. There are playgrounds for small kids, a place to get ice cream and lunch, fishing on the piers, and my favorite-- the paddle boats you can rent. All day parking is just three dollars and paddle boat rental is quick and cheap, with provided life jackets if you want them. The park is dog friendly, kid friendly, and a great place to spend an afternoon. They're open from sun rise to sun set so the hours fit your schedule. Had a wonderful day there!

Our family has gone to Sharon Woods for many events, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, and the upcoming holiday, Father's Day. Every time we go we always have a place to gather together and have even been able to snag a shelter with no reservation! The boats are SO fun and there is always enough of them for our whole family!! There is always 22 of us!! Great trail to walk on and there is so much nature to take in!! Highly recommend Sharon Woods!!
