This rose garden is so beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of room to stroll, to sit and enjoy the garden, and SO MANY gorgeous roses. Extremely well-kept. The rest of Whetstone Park is usually a hub of activity at any given time - families picnicking, walkers, runners, roller blading, kids on the playground, people just hanging out...really nice oasis in the city.

This is one of Columbus's best parks for its wonderful landscaping and especially during rose season. The collection of roses is amazing and the care given to the gardens is quite evident. There are other areas in the park for walking and taking nature photos as well.

This is my favorite MetroPark. The location along the river and the extensive walking/biking trail make this a popular destination for locals. The daffodils in the spring and roses in the summer are my favorites!

We attend our grandson's soccer games here in the fall. There is always a lot of people out walking dogs and such. Can get crowded in good weather but a very nice park in Clintonville, right off High Street.

If you are a flower lover you will enjoy this park. The best time to see the roses is during the rose show when the flowers are at their peek. Lots of parking and easy walking.

A large and free public park with 12,000 rose plants - all labeled! What a relaxing joy to visit, especially on a nice day! The sights and aromas are delightful.

This place has a special place for me in my heart. My grandmother spoke fondly of the gardens and my mother took us here as children. So going back as an adult (after being out of the state for many years) really brought a warm place to my heart. It is a place that allows for meditation as it is quiet, clean, serene, lovely. The fragrant scent of roses - real ones, not the ones you get in the grocery store, not the hybrids that take away from the elegance of the rose. I just love the scent of the rose. It is a small garden, unlike the Butchart Gardens in Vancouver or the Topiary gardens in Baltimore, but it is our little garden in Columbus that says quality is more important than quantity.

If you in to seeing all the roses in their glory you have to come when the real beauty of this park is in full bloom. Concerts in the park are always a pleasure to enjoy throughout the summer.

The park is gorgeous in the Summer months and everyone from young children to senior citizens can enjoy the beauty of thousands of roses blooming. A great place for relaxing and enjoying the beauty.

The grounds are simply beautiful. Even the children loved it. It's free and there are lots of places to sit and relax along the way.

This is a beautiful and well maintained park. I've been to several rose parks and this is by far the nicest one. I live in Columbus and love to come visit this park from time to time.

We had seen this park about 35 years ago. During our recent visit to Columbus, we just had to go back. August is not the best time to view roses in the summer, but relatively cool weather had many of them quite nice. It is still the most impressive collection of its kind.

Nice place to go walking after sitting in meetings all day long at work. There is no charge for entering the park. It features a beautiful fountain in the center of the park. When I was there in mid-July, the roses were still in full bloom and they were everywhere. There were other flowers as well. The really touching part of this park is that each rose bush, bench and some of the pavers were dedicated to the memory of a loved one that had passed on. Very nice.

Timing it just right is the key, but what a joy! Wish all our visitors had been able to see this place in bloom as it is one of the best outdoor things to see here.
