We spent about an hour exploring the conservatory. There was a wedding going on while we were there, so we didn't quite get the full experience because we were trying to stay out of peoples' way. However, I did enjoy it. The featured display was the Falling Water Gardens, which I was really excited about but ended up being the least impressive part, personally. I thought it was a good, cheap way to kill an hour. Also, on their website there is a $1 off coupon (though it is not expensive to begin with at $4/adult). Be sure to check out the side rooms as well as the main conservatory- The bonsai room, the orchid room, and the cactus room were all really cool as well. Overall is was a nice trip for two adults. Children might get bored with it, though. However I have heard that the butterfly room is the main attraction, which we did not see since we were there in the off-season. If you are going to the conservatory, make sure to check out the rest of the park too for some awesome views of the river and the city below.

Anytime of year the plant conservatory offers a pleasant stroll through plant collections grouped for their native growing regions. From the arid to rainforest there is a rich variety of plants. The butterfly room and outdoor art and garden ornaments keep people visiting this delightful spot year after year.

Doesn't matter if you like plants or not, just go. It is such an amazing place to visit and spend the time looking at all the diverse plants and species they have packed into this place. They always have events going on also so make sure to check out their site. Now...if you are a plant lover, bring your drool towel, especially for the orchids. The staff really do an amazing job keeping this place up and running.

The family went when the Christmas displays were up. They were great. There was an area set up for the kids to do crafts. Very nice place.

Only at Krohn can you experience monarch butterflies sitting on your shoulder. With the decline of butterflies, this is one of the best ways to still enjoy one of mother nature's gifts. Visiting after schools are out for the summer might make it a bit less crowded.

Love this place - always visit on our annual trips to Cincy. Great cacti, orchids, big tropical plants and trees. Always a great special exhibit. A small place - A great place to spend an hour.

Cold outside but nice and warm in the conservatory. Doesn't take much imagination to think one is in the tropics. Current falling waters show has beautiful spring flowers. Great place to spend a few hours on a gloomy winter day.

We went for the annual butterfly show and it was awesome. Be prepared for a bit of a crowd and dress appropriately. It is always warm in there for the plants and butterflies. We love the butterflies, but enjoy the bonsai tree display and orchids on the way to the butterfly observatory. Do yourself a favor and walk around the other parts of the conservatory and see the waterfall and the unique plants. You won't be disappointed. The only reason for a 4 is the lack of parking. During the butterfly show, it is nearly impossible to find a parking spot right by the conservatory.

Krohn has the most beautiful variety of flowers and plants, displayed in gorgeous exotic settings. The Conservatory also does seasonal displays. It's hard not pay them a visit seasonally to see everything.

One of the must see places in Cincinnati. Take it slow and enjoy jungle like strolling and calm surroundings. Christmas is a very enjoyable family outing with the manger outside.

Located close to town in Eden Park, the Krohn Conservatory is a medium-sized greenhouse with a good permanent collection of tropical plants, sometimes supplemented with special exhibitions such as the ever-popular butterfly exhibit and the traditional Christmas display. The admission is moderate and parking (if you can find it) is free. Allow about an hour for a pleasant winter interlude. The Cincinnati Art Museum is nearby, and you can combine them both for a good day's touring. Finish at historic Mt. Adams for something to eat from a wide choice of dining options.

Great Spot to take your family for a couple of hours. Revel in the beautifully maintained plants and flowers from across the world. Reasonably priced. Fantastic Holiday Displays and exhibits throughout the entire year.

Visited Krohn after years of cooking to Cincy for visits. Why didn't I come here before? The assortment of plants and flowers is huge. Visit during the week if you want to avoid crowds. I felt like spring was around the corner.

Nothing to dislike here. A great spot for pictures, as the conservatory is filled with beautiful plants and scenery. Take your time and try to see the butterfly exhibit when it's there. If you love flowers, plants and flowing water, you're sure to love this place!!
