a touch of the tropics in downtown OKC...2 parrots, a waterfall, interesting history about the old cut-throat days of orchid hunters, beautiful orchids and tall palms, and acres around the building for kids and hanging out and dogs and dining...OKC should be proud they've maintained a nice garden and green space in their concrete downtown.

The gardens are easily accessible & can be explored in as little as an hour, or one could stay for most of the day! The kids play area is quite impressive! Outdoor landscape & plants are lovely and will be even more so in the late spring/summer. Inside the Crystal Bridge is a tropical paradise! The current orchid exhibit is very well done & the guided tour offers great insight on the history & facts about orchids. Our guide was fantastic and full of wonderful information. Definitely worth the $8 ticket to explore inside the conservatory. Don't miss it!

A very nice botanical garden in the heart of OKC. Orchids were in full bloom and we're beautiful. Plenty of great photo opportunities. Well worth the visit if you are in the city.

For plant geeks, this is a bit of heaven. Nice walk through interior gardens with various climates displaying plants that work best in these climates. Water features and large specimens abound in each area. The grounds are wonderful and designed with a comfortable flow and beauty.

In fair weather, say during the Arts festival in May or on summer evenings when Shakespearean plays are being staged in the outdoor theater, the beautifully planned and maintained grounds are a real pleasure to explore for free. A water feature is cooling for children. At any time of the year, but particularly when the outdoor temperatures are chilly, the Chrystal Bridge is a walk-through, tropical oasis. where the annual butterfly release will amaze and astound young and old. There is a charge for admission to the plays and the Bridge, but a walk and a picnic in the park are free for the taking. There are good restaurants nearby that will prepare carryout food and, if you'd rather enjoy solitude and read, the huge new Metropolitan library very nearby charges a minimal fee for a card.

I loved the orchids. They were everywhere. We went up to the top of the waterfall area and checked out the rainforest but it was a little hot up there. The rest sure was beautiful and we especially loved the critters when you could find them. We found a few lizards and even a frog. Can't wait to go in the spring.

The fairly newly-renovated Myriad Gardens is very, very nice and provides a great place for families to relax and take in the great outdoors.

I have never seen anything like this before. A huge indoor arboretum. Different kinds of plants from all over. If you are lucky you might even see a lizard or two running around.

First, for a downtown site, this is very impressive. Since I visited in winter, the grounds were mostly dormant but you can tell it is quite impressive, with nice separations between different gardens and features. Indoor, the tropical conservatory is a bit small but very well filled. Worth about 1 1/2 hours.

Of course the outside gardens were resting for a flourishing awakening this spring, but the CRYSTAL BRIDGE Tropical Gardens were enough for one day. Having lived, in the South Pacific for 12 years, it was like returning home. The Ginger, the Papaya, the Giant Ferns, the Cocoa Trees and the Waterfall were a welcoming pageant for my eyes. The ladies out front were extremely helpful and very interesting to visit with. Oklahoma City should be very proud of their Botanical Gardens and we plan to visit in the Spring to see the entire area in all of it's glory.

We enjoyed this very much. There are a lot of things to see, more than I expected. Would definitely go again.

If you are into flora and fauna it is worth a look. The admission is not much. But in comparison to St. Louis Botanical Garden or Phipps Conservatory you will be disappointed. Outside grounds are lovely.

This is a place that will make you smile. Very easy to hang here on a sunny day, walk around an stop to enjoy the nature exhibited there. The conservatory is lovely, have a bite at the Ice House, and enjoy your time there. Very convenient to anywhere yu will be if you are visiting downtown. It's a very safe place, people of the city respect it, it's clean and overall well cared for.

Beautiful outside gardens and an indoor green house garden. I spent about 45 minutes and really enjoyed my time here. The staff was very helpful. If you have time I recommend visiting.

Our visit was on a cold and snowy January day. This review is only for the conservatory. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the exhibits. The colorful map and guide allows you to identify a few of the plants. I found it interesting that in addition to the many permanent exhibits, they had filled their place with amaryllis of all kinds and holiday decorations. One of our favorite experiences was watching the Veiled Chameleon nab a cricket with its ridiculously long tongue. (This made my daughter leap backwards--quite hilarious!). There is a great catwalk that allows you to explore the canopy from a much higher level. The butterflies were a joy to watch. It is neat that they are allowed to reproduce in the conservatory. So many other butterfly and moth exhibits are from cocoons brought in to hatch. My favorite plants were the always bizarre ones from Madagascar. Weird. The collection is small, but attractive and well-curated. They have a good deal on membership, if you are local, this would be a great option. My daughter really liked the rainforest because it is cool, and the animals.
