A very unique winery with very interesting events and a beautiful setting. One of the best wineries in the area. Pinot is excellent.

Out of all the wineries we visited on this trip Amity had the nicest views. After driving up a curvy wooded road it's set up on a hill where you can overlook the valley and the mountains. There are several picnic tables set up on the hill between the building and the vines. It would be a wonderful place to bring a lunch on a nice day.The wines were very good and they had a nice variety as well. Some unique types of wines we didn't find elsewhere. If you're in the area you shouldn't pass this place up.

One of the first vineyards in the Oregon wine industry. Small, accessible and unpretentious. A beautiful setting with picnic tables for your convenience.

Our good friends who live in Vancouver, WA took us to the Oregon Wine Country for the day. We had a fabulous time. The weather was perfect and the scenery was spectacular. We went to 3 or 4 wineries and ended up at Amity, Or at the Amity Winery. We were beginning to wonder a bit as we drove this little narrow road up a hill that seemed to be going nowhere when we got to the top and found this small quaint winery with a fabulous view of the hillside. This was my favorite because they are so low key, informal, love to visit, answer questions and inform. The fee was not $10 for 3 samples but $10 for 10 samples. The idea is not to have a glass of 3 kinds of their wine but a small sampling of several so you really get an idea of what they offer. They start you out with the lightest and end up with a dessert wine. So fun. We left there and drove down to the little town of Amity and ate at the Blue Goat. They have a huge stone oven where they cook their pizzas and their "to die for" cookies. Another fun place. From there we went to taste the chocolate of the Brigittine Monks where they make chocolate truffles, fudge, etc. Back home after a most enjoyable day with great friends, wine and chocolate amidst the beautiful scenery of the Oregon Wine Country. How can you beat that!!!

Amity Vineyards overlooks a beautiful vista. The tasting area is great--unpretentious, and the service was great. We got there before the tasting area opened, but were greeted by a friendly fellow who told us to just wait for the opening in 15 minutes. The wines are lovely, too. I bought 2 bottles of their Pinot Noir. Apparently this winery is a little too south for tons of visitors. I certainly would recommend a visit. They have a great vineyard cat on the premises, too.

The late harvest reisling is my favorite of their wines I have tried. The setting up on the hill is simply stunning. Nice place
