We drove past this place 3 times- not knowing what it was. A local tipped us off and - that was the beginning of a spending spree on really tasty, locally produced jerky and jaeger. It serves lunch and early dinner- sandwiches filled with local meats. Great value, great food!

What an incredibly interesting, well stocked and beautifully manage country store. If you drive 200 miles in any direction, you won't find anything like this. Another thing--if you shoot a deer or an elk, Taylor's will dress and package it for you. That is a rare service. If you are passing through Cave Junction, do yourself a favor and visit this great shop.

After one of the most spectacular drives through the Redwoods that a person could ask for, we headed inland on Route 199 and found ourselves hungry and in Cave Junction at around 3 in the afternoon. I said, "Let's look for a burger joint." And while most small towns normally have at least one mom and pop type cafe where many times a great burger can be found, it didn't seem to hold true for this little burg. That's when we spotted Taylor's and thought well, maybe they'd have something. I'll tell you, this place isn't a burger joint, nope, it's a treasure trove of all sorts of meats AND a restaurant. While we waited for our burgers (made with their own freshly ground chuck), we checked out the huge u-shaped meat cases and there was absolutely everything and anything meat related that you could dream of, from pepperoni to several kinds of jerky to smoked turkeys and chickens to cold cuts and freshly cut meats of all sorts. It was a carnivores heaven! When our burgers arrived, they were more than we could have possibly hoped for and we soon found ourselves back on the road, fully sated with a nice little bag of jerky for the rest of the ride. If you ever find yourself in Cave Junction, make sure to stop in to Taylor's, it probably even warrants a special trip.

Stopped here on our way through. The place was packed. The food was great they have hot dogs, sandwiches , burgers, prime rib and much more. They also sell their pepperoni sticks and sausge. The only thing bad I have to say was there was no seating and nobody seemed to be very helpful about where to sit. They reserve a lot of tables for people which seemed a bit crazy since they were still empty when we got through with our meal. Nice place to stop and grab a bite to eat before heading back on the road.

This funky little place is a great stop for lunch on your way through Cave Junction. The make their own sausages, so try a fancy hot dog...I had the spicy Louisiana dog and a big basket of their handmade sweet potato fries. You can select from any number of flavors of sausage sticks to take on the road with you. The place has live music and an expanded dinner menu on certain nights. Overall, the place has plenty of small-town atmosphere and the staff is friendly.

Great food was sent via package from these super service folks in Cave Junction. Do not miss the jerky or the sticks. Smoked turkey is a not to miss surprise.

Whether you are just stopping in for a "bite to eat" or to check out their selection of meats, you will be pleased by the quality, flavor and even the price. I don't mind paying a little more for food that tastes this good!!! The atmosphere and friendliness of the employees is such a delight. I've been there twice this year when visiting Oregon, and will be sure to stop again in the future.

This is obviously the place to eat for all the locals at lunch. Amazing variety of meats. Has a patio and indoor casual (very casual) seating.

Taylor's should be listed as a restaurant...a really yummy one! Outstanding food. Not high class dining, just plenty of excellent food.

I recently went to Kerby (outside of Cave Junction) for my uncle's funeral, and while there, my cousins insisted we go to Taylor's for lunch. City slicker that I am, I took one look at the place and started giggling about how quaint it looked...but then I got one bite of my lunch, and it was out of this world. I also bought 10 pounds of the meat sticks to bring home, and they disappeared within a few days. Now I need to get in gear, and have some mail delivered to my home so my family doesn't go through withdrawals.
