just at the west end of town and a local favorite, you can walk further afield and be alone or enjoy friendly company as you walk or run the trails, bicyclists are also friendly and well mannered. Porta-loos are placed out in the warmer months.

This area is great for hiking, biking or jogging. Hike or job up the trail for a great view. Walk, jog or bike the paved paths for a good work out. No matter what you are up for, Bald Hill can help you get outdoors and have some fun.

There are a number of different hikes you can do ranging from flat to challenging. We like to gather Nettles for Nettle soup in the spring. You can park either on the fairgrounds end or the Harrison street trailhead.

Well maintained especially for a reasonably busy trail so close to town. Long trails, quiet, seldom running into others. Easy to forget just how close you are to civilization. There's walks around the Hill, and then there's walks up the Hill. Some of the up hill walks loop around the Hill to get to the top, some are practically goaters. Whatever your physical exertion desires are, Bald Hill has a trail or trails for you. They have a paved wide walk from one side to the other if you have a nature phobia. Several porta potties for your convenience. The open barn is a nice respite from heat or rain. Summit views are fantastic, with a few benches for relaxation / recovery. In the late summer take pruning shears, because there's a section of wild blackberries near the summit. Most people pick the easily reached berries, but with a few cuts you can get the ones people can't reach. Really great organic food. A nice time is to harvest some organic blackberries near the summit on a cool summer morning and then enjoy the views.

Gorgeous park with lots of trails for any fitness level. Views from the top are lovely. Ample parking available.

Took the dog for a walk, and we did the paved path between Reservoir Road and Oak Creek. A good walk, about a mile and a half each way. There's lots of poison oak along the trails - it's really visible this time of year as it's all red.

The paved Midge Cramer path curving between woods and fields, a creek burbling along beside, a big old barn, mountains in the distance, blackberries everywhere. Heaven! Extensive unpaved hiking and bike paths as well, which also connect to Fitton Green Natural Area. An easy ride through the covered bridge on the OSU campus or up Country Club Rd from the bike trails along 20.
