On a cold and crummy Saturday- the rain really put a damper on the ideal joy of drinking wine in the sun on a patio with the doors open. Ok, that being said- the building is really beautiful and I bet amazing in the Summer. I was a little irritated that I belong to Villasport Club and Stoller is listed as an affiliate. So we should have gotten a discount of some sort. NOBODY in the tasting room had any idea what I was talking about and looked at me as if I was crazy. The wine was a no go. Nothing struck my fancy. Service was so-so. Maybe the rain had everybody on an "off" day. I will likely take my money to someplace better- Domaine Serene, White Rose, Sokol Blosser...

Great location in sine country! Wines are perfect, try any of the pintos, of course, but the rose is beautiful. View from tasting room is unbelievable, rolling wine rows, home on the hill, and again grat wine to enjoy.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for some wine-tasting and are glad that we did. The Stoller tasting room is a beautiful facility with some of the best views in Oregon's wine country. Their wines are all outstanding and it was hard to pick a favorite. Stoller is right off of 97W and easy to get to. Stoller Vineyards is now a "Must visit" on all of our future wine-tasting ventures.

I've been to Stoller before and wanted to go back again this time of the year. Wineries in Oregon are aplenty and after a while everything looks, feels, and tastes the same especially with me because I've been to the wine country Several times already. But Stoller is just different and one of the most unique I've ever been to. The wines are also one of the best I've had in the area and we always leave buying our own bottles. Stoller is not as mainstream as the other wineries but I assure you it is worth the visit.

The winery is in a very bucolic setting and a good one to start with. The building itself is rather sterile and lacks character. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the vineyards. The serve good wine flights, and known for their Pinot Noir. They treated us to a special tasting of Helens reserve and was very special.

We had a coupons for a complimentary tasting so we stopped. Not sure why we have never stopped before, though wish we had. This place is so welcoming and relaxing. They have great, shaded outdoor seating to include tables and Adirondack chairs. They even have a few shaded tree spots with a tire swing and frisbee golf. We tasted 2 Chardonnays: one steel barrel that was crisp and perfect for a summer day and the other traditional oak but not overly so at all. Next was a hint of Strawberry rose. Then 2 very different but delicious Pinot Noirs. One was very fruit forward. The other more complex and a bit earthy and spicy. They had many large parties visiting that day but we had no problems tasting while they were there. If you're looking to relax, have some reasonably priced Pinot, and maybe a picnic, then here's your spot!

The very beautiful setting, we were away from the winery, the venue we were at was on the gas under a bunch of trees, it was catered, but the wine was Stoller's. The wine was very good, we also had live music and had a great time, best of all it was free.

Learned that before Stoller was a winery it was a turkey farm. Our server was very knowledgable about the winery and the wines. Enjoyed the experience.

Stoller was the first in a series of wineries we planned to stop at and amongst our group of 6 it was everyone's favorite. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and the wine delicious. Big credit goes to Gerry who did a wonderful job explaining the wines and the vineyards. We had a great time and my only regret is that I didn't buy more wine while I was there!

Splittable and refundable with purchase. The most beautiful dramatic spot with an incredible building and tables for bringing a picnic to have with your wine. A really upscale venue. There was no bad wine. Tasting wine, rose and reds. Prices a little high for us a couple affordable bottles.

The property is beautiful and worth a trip even if your not a big fan of wine. The wines we tasted were very good, especially the pinot noirs and rose. Even the chardonnay was good (stainless steel fermented), though I'm not a big fan of the grape. Prices were very reasonable in comparison to other vineyards in the area and if you join the wine club (free), you get a 20% discount. The person assisting us was knowledgeable attentive and helpful. If you purchase $40 worth of wine, the tasting fee is waived.

Let me start off with The grounds here are beautiful and the views were great. The tasting is what let me down. We had scheduled a tasting a few weeks out and when we arrived and told them about our reservation we were asked to go to the tasting bar, no problem. The tasting was very impersonal we felt very rushed with each pour. We were only told what type of wine it was then the server would disappear. Each time we were ready for the next wine we had a different server approach and was unfamiliar with what we had already tasted and what we would like to try next. 3 different servers over 5 wines? Maybe the winery was just too busy that day, even though there was less than 10 people there.

One of the best wineries that my husband and I have been to. We love the philosophies that Stoller lives by and what can I say, the wines are also very good!

Stoller had the most beautiful turkey farm in the USA......I am so glad they stopped raising turkeys and planted grapes!!! We tasted a SV Pinot Noir while having dinner in Colorado a few years back and made a point to visit. Once we visited, we were hooked. The tasting room is so comfortable and the views of the hills are spectacular. Adelle in the tasting room was a jewel...knowledgable, pleasant and a fantastic smile. It was a treat while sampling the wine, the Winemaker, Melissa Burr stopped in and chatted for a moment. It is a pleasure to get the perspective of the maker of such magic. The tasting room is open from 11-5, but this is a place to sit back and relax out on the deck and enjoy the great views and the fantastic tasting room staff. Stoller will be on our "to-do-list" on every trip we make to Dayton. oh......if you only buy one bottle of Pinot......make it the 2008 SV Pinot ......Velvet.

Stoller Vineyards has a wonderful view of Mt. Hood, and all you have to do to enjoy the view is walk out of the tasting room and look around the corner. I would have thought that the new, stylish tasting room would be oriented to take advantage of the impressive view of Mt. Hood. Instead, the view from the tasting room is of part of the vineyard. This is a very nice view, but it cannot compare to Mt. Hood. (The best view of the mountain is from the parking lot.)As far as the wine is concerned, the tasting fee is $15.00. We enjoyed the wine, even though the amount of wine per tasting is not very great. This is similar to the tastings we had in nearby Domaine Drohin Winery and Sokol Blosser Winery. I admit that I am not knowledgeable about wines, however, the wines at all three wineries seemed comparable. The grounds would be very good for a picnic, but not in January when we visited.
