Right on the edge of the river, hence the name. The tasting room is small but well kept. The owner chatted with us while we tasted, nice guy. I love these small family wineries off the beaten path. I recommend.

Very small town in Rogue Valley of Oregon. Get off the main roads and drive through beautiful oregon and go to the town of Elkton. Rivers Edge wines are limited and worth the taste. You have to call ahead 24 hours to setup tasting time. Nice local eateries and the Brandborg winery tasting room is across the street. Elkton is worth your time and effort.

Had a great time at the winery and bought a case.... Which gives you a 20% discount. Very nice couple that owns winery gave me a ups shipping box to take wine case back on airplane to little rock. Premises were clean and landscape was meticulous. I received a 'behind the scenes' tour when I inquired about equipment and processing. Next time I am back in Oregon I will make sure to stop for another case!

Good value in Pinot Noir in a challenging cool climate environment that brings out the best in the grape. The wine shop is basic (you are in the warehouse). The owner knows his soil and climate and is passionate about his art. The wine is clear and clean, with soft flavours and great gentleness — not the normal fare for cool climate pinots. Definitely worth the drive, and definitely one of the best in the Umqua.

Wine was, at best mediocre. The server did not really know her wines and the prices were not reflective of the wine quality

The tasting room is in a lovely location, but a bit tricky to get in and out from the highway.

Gotta try their dulcet ( a little residual sugar in the pinot noir). Nice folks too.

Wines made in a manner that rival the best in the world.

Small winery with a huge welcome. We were one of two couples visiting at the same time. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable. At no time were we hurried and we really enjoyed spending time here. It was so difficult to choose a bottle of wine to take back to the UK as they all appealed to us. We learned a little about life around Elkton with the hummingbirds and the vultures that swooped and soared as we tasted the Pinot. Do stop here. It is well worth it!
