A group of us were staying at the McMenamins Grand Lodge and I had seen on their website a link to Tree to Tree and thought it'd be a fun activity. We had a group of 6 adults and were able to get a discount (bonus!). We arrived early afternoon and spent at least 4 hours climbing, swinging, and balancing in the trees. The staff was hilarious and helpful. The courses were clearly labeled for the difficultly level and the staff was always there to help you decide if you were getting in over your head and offer advice for getting through the obstacles. I'll definitely be going back w/ my daughter.

Had a great time on aerial course. Our group of 3 adults and 3 kids (all tall enough for all courses) had an awesome time. Courses consist of lots of balancing, swings and some zip lines between stages. Very safe. Very well run. Staff was extremely professional and helpful, much better I've experienced at other locations. Note we did not do the zip tour, but the aerial park, which also has some zip lines. Spent over 3 hours, enjoying all the options.

If you've never been to a tree-top rope and climbing adventure park, this should definitely be on your "to do" list. There are different levels of difficulty on the ropes courses....all of them are do-able; it's just whether you have confidence in yourself to tackle these adrenalin-packed courses. We went with a group from work, and we all found ourselves cheering each other on, shouting encouragement, and celebrating completion of each course. There is no way to fall - you're tethered to guidelines all the time, but you've got to dig deep to muster the courage to take "that next step".This isn't for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights. But if you've got confidence and balance, and want an incredible adrenalin rush, this is a MUST VISIT adventure.

lots of fun for adults and older kid (if you have kids at least 10+ it would be best)Visited OCT 2014 and enjoyed it very much. Mix of zip line and obstacle courses.About an hour from the Portland Airport area, on private property in a small town area. Eat before you go or they have small snacks. Make sure you have reservations. It is their home after all.

I bought the zombie challenge groupon coupon. The staff was super nice. We were attended to as soon as we walked in. The obstacle course was ALOT of fun! My 12 year old daughter and I did that, the tree plunge and the pumpkin drop! We will definitely be back!

This amazing park offers a lot of different levels (literally) for everyone. I heard it said that only 3% of the visitors make it to the black course (the highest) so naturally my boys had to make it through that. It is a physically challenging activity, but we all felt safe the whole time. The clip-in mechanism makes it so that you can 'self-guide' yourself through the course and still be safe. I recommend this place to anyone who like a little bit of thrill. The setting is also beautiful and for those who do not wish to climb aboard it is a nice area to picnic. Long zip lines are also an attraction here, but I did not do these as they were offered in a different package.

If you don't mind heights then Tree to Tree is a fun, challenging obstacle course among the trees. Each course has several obstacles and there are 6 courses to choose from, each rated from 1 to 4 in difficulty. I only did the 1 and 2 rated courses since I have a bad knee, but I am very proud of myself for taking on the challenge. Once you start a course, you can't go back or get down so you have to suck it up and keep going. Not for everyone but I really enjoyed it. It's very safe since you are connected via a harness, so there is no danger of falling and they give very good instructions at the start.

bring your kids 12 and up for a fantastic time. The older and taller you are, the more you can do here. It was awesome. Great idea for groups of teens, for example. Kids 11-13 might be too scared to take advantage of all the courses, but could enjoy several. Highly recommended activity!!!

One of our sons and some grandchildren ages from 10 to 23 had a blast zipping through the very well laid out park. There are some challenging courses for the more adventurous and very easy course for the youngest zippers. We started with fitting gear and an instructional lecture and then a tryout on a sample course before we were let loose to zip around freely. There were guides all around the park to help and ensure safety. The surrounding forest is lovely and shaded well on hot days. We all had a fun, exhilarating day and will do it again.

Our teenagers liked the zip lining course. The two guides were helpful and kept it fun. Some of the zip lines runs were pretty intense.

We stopped at the park to zip line on our recent trip to Oregon. The zip lines were fun and the views were awesome. The guides on the tour were fantastic. They were friendly, informative and obviously enjoyed their job. I think that the zip lines might be a little tame if you were experienced with zip lining. We are not so it was perfect for us (this time).

This was an amazing experience. We drove an hour each way and paid $45pp for 3 full hours of fun!You have to complete mandatory training on some silly courses while the guides watch but once they know you have it down, you're free to go! Equipment felt extremely safe and reliable and the guides , although all VERY young, were helpful and knowledgeable. We were very happy to find out once we completed 2 of the easier courses that we were free to try all of them. Because we are both pretty adventurous and in shape, this meant not having to sit in line with the (over booked) large group we were matched with that was full of very frightened teens. We initially thought we were going to be stuck behind them and were not happy about it.Each course was fun and challenging. As the guide told me, try to do each course as they are designed and don't use your harness or guide cable for assistance unless ya have to! That takes away half rhe fun! There are lot of crazy bridges, swings, rope walks and platforms that require balance, concentration and loads of confidence. The hubby and I both conquered the black (most challenging) course and felt like champions afterwards! It is extremely, very, very tough but totally do-able! We cheered on a teen boy who was behind us and gave him pointers, it was worth it to see the pride on his face when he completed it right behind us. :-)***hint: when doing the really long log bridge on the last red course your best bet is to stay in the middle, arms out like an airplane, get low and RUN! I was the only person in our group to try this and the only one who made it across without help from the ropes or harness! The cheers from below were pretty awesome and the guides made me feel like a savage for trying it that way!

We love zip lining parks, and this one was a big disappointment. The kids course is geared best to kids younger than 6 -- it is a small loop and they have very few guides to assist. In fact we had reservations but then they added a bunch of people who showed up at the same time so suddenly there were15 small kids and one guide to help. For those kids that needed help, help was hard to find. The Tween course is bit better, but limited and also a loop. They say it takes 2-2.5 hours, but that is because they give you that amount of time to go again and again on the loop. We expected it would be a unique 2 hour adventure as in other parks we've been to. Our two kids were combined with a day camp trip -- another 30 kids -- and they had to wait 50 minutes for their turn to even get on the first platform (the first hour of their adventure was standing in line). I suspect the adult course and zip lines are better. We won't come back and spend any money on the tween or kids course again.

Our Girl Scout troop is always in search of a new adventure and Tree to Tree diffidently provided us with a challenging quest. It was fun and scary and we worked together as a team to accomplish 3 of the courses. We enjoyed the staff and had a few laughs with our guide Patrick. Only draw back was there was not a lot of support for the girls who were scared to move forward, once you went through the short training you were kind of on your own. We asked for some additional help for one of the girls and they said they were too under staffed to help any further. We paid full price for her and she never made it past the very short training course...expensive way to find out you are too scared to go tree to tree. However, I do recommend this adventure!

Our two kids (16 and 10) did this while on vacation in Oregon.I had emailed previously to ask about suitability and the recommendation was the 10 year old who is small and light needed a guide to help her on the higher reaches. We also could not spare the time to do the full course and they were extremely flexible in agreeing that both could do a reduced number of obstacles on the adult course in order to reduce the time. The safety briefing was clear and included a practical trial on a low zipline. I have absolutely no issues with how this was done. Our guide (who turned out to be the owner) was excellent, giving our daughter space to do the course herself but always close enough to help when needed on the taller reaches. There was a huge variety of challenges from walking along beams to wires to zip lines of different lengths. After the hour allocated our owner/guide asked us was it ok if he kept going with them for another course. Of course the kids jumped at the opportunity. I can't praise him highly enough for his patience and help.Of all the things we did on vacation (from kayaking, rafting, golf, flightseeing and more) this was the item that the kids rated as the best. I highly recommend it and the staff.
