This was our first visit to Grants Pass so we asked for recommendations. A local said this was her bosses favorite winery. WOW what a find. It is a little out of the way but the wine and atmosphere are divine. My husband said their port was the best he has ever tasted.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting room is very relaxed environment and the wines are excellent. Do not skip Wooldridge when wine tasting in the valley. Cheers.

Always welcomed with friendly attentive knowledgeable staff. By far the most comfortable atmosphere. My girlfriends and I go to the Applegate Valley frequently to enjoy all the fabulous wineries but something about this place takes up most of our day and we hardly hit 2 other wineries. Between the fire pit in the winter and watching our four legged friends (Vino my fav) in the summer this is a great place year round! Oh and the wines amazing too!

We love the Tempranillo and Rose at Wooldridge. The tasting room is small but very friendly staff. The grounds are great for hanging around and sharing a bottle with friends.

What a nice surprise to pull up and see a food truck at the winery. We had no problem jumping in and doing a wine tasting out side and enjoying the food truck. The dogs at the winery were great too!

This winery is a bit off the main drag in the North Applegate area but well worth the effort to find it. The facility is very country feeling and relaxed. My favorite two wines they oofer are the 2011 Brut and the 2008 Warrick. Both are excellent. Nice to go to a winery where the winemaker recognizes you after a few visits and will give you serious answers to your wine making questions.

We stopped by this winery while we spent the night in Grants Pass. The experience here was wonderful. The customer service was great- we got a chance to talk to the owners. The wine (specifically the merlot) was one of the best I've had. The winery itself was beautiful and well constructed. On Sundays, they have a food truck serving onsite called Fulcrum Dining with farm to table food. This food was also the best on our trip- very fresh and full of flavor. I would highly recommend this winery for couples, friends, and a place for business.

Greg and Kara continue to produce excellent wines. They make mostly reds but have a couple of whites which are of high quality. The tasting room is in a lovely area and it is a pleasure to just get a glass of wine and enjoy the ambience. Invariably, however, I will buy a couple of bottles for future consumption. Try the Warrick Red and the Pinot noir! Keep on coming back as we do!

Beautiful drive on a sunny day to this Winery. It was fun seeing the different vine varietals labeled along the drive into the Winery. Tasting I think is $10, but I believe credited against a purchase. (Why don't more of these reviews mention prices for the tastings at the various places?) I don't normally like Chardonnay, but really enjoyed the one I tasted--not as oaky as most I have tasted. I drink Pinot Noir, but it's normally not my favorite. The one I tasted was fruitier and a little more full-bodied than most I've had. I was a little disappointed by the Warrick Red blend, but it showed promise with aging. The Port and Brut were both exceptional to me. Much better than I ever expected. Wines were a little pricey to me, but I bought a half case. The folks serving were just as nice as could be, especially since I came at the end of the day--just really friendly--adding to the warmth that I was already feeling from the wine.

Wooldridge Creek Winery produces several wines (? Ten or more). I am a local and have tasted all that they offer. They are consistently of excellent quality. My favorites are the Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir (try the 2010), and the Warrick Red which is a blend. The staff knows the wines well and are very friendly. Tha setting is beautiful...a great place to spend a couple of hours.

This was our third (and best) stop on our brief winery tour. The tasting room is a quaint one that holds about a dozen with some additional seating on the inside. Outside, there are several tables. There is also an upstairs, which we did not see. Regardless, the room was well-equipped, nice, and the views were simply breathtaking. The major shame is that they don't have an on-site restaurant or kitchen, otherwise this would be a mandatory dinner place. Very good wines with some nice food overlooking the valley and vineyards...not much better! The price for the tasting was $10/person.The woman working the wine room was knowledgable and entertaining. She engaged every group that entered, spent time talking about the wines, and no matter how busy they were, she made every feel as though they were the focus of her attention. It didn't hurt that the wines were genuinely good, and the atmosphere positive. All in all, this was one of the best wine tasting rooms we've visited in years. It was, overall, better than other ones and only a few minutes further up the road. If you are going to visit wineries near the Rogue River, ensure you go here. You will be glad you did!

This young couple makes some great wines. Their tasting room and patio has a spectacular view of the Applegate Valley.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the wines include some memorable ones. We joined the wine club.

Located in the Applegate Valley, 45 minutes from Medford, it only sells to its wine club and local restaurants.
