At the bridge there is a great map that highlights a majority of the areas mountain biking trails. It is a trailhead for many of the local trails. Walking distance to a nice place to eat.

Nice covered bridge only about 2 miles from highway 58. It is of course over a river but no access to the river.

Lovely old bridge with walkway as well as roadway for vehicles. Be sure to cross over to the beautiful meadow on the other side.

THis bridge is worth seeing , longest in the county maybe the state. only one designed for log trucks to cross, first to have lights. Was designed with a covered footbridge as park of the design. It now leads to a park with a trail head for a river side trail. in October it is the site of a community halloween event.

There are about 40 of these in our county alone, but this one is one of the closest. It's just great to see them preserved.

I enjoy touring covered bridges - this is a unique one.

Supposedly this is the longest covered bridge in Oregon. It is only the second one I have ever visited, and we visited both on our trip to Crater Lake.. The first was the Lowell covered bridge located at Lookout point reservoir.. I had a great time as it was an unexpected treat added to our highly anticipated trip to see Crater Lake. It was fun to be able to walk across the Office covered bridge and you can also drive across it to a little rest area and park on the other side.
