nice park with good walking areas, fishing area too. two gazebos that are available for events. it is a very popular place. I got married here. What more can I say?

A good place to walk, you and/or your dog. Playground, picnic area, dog park. Beech in Summer season.

This marina has filthy water. It used to be called Helms Pit and has chemical water. The fish all died in it twice last year and the birds around it are dying as well. Nothing out there to do except walk around a sidewalk and smell the dirty water. Yuck!! Don't let your kids swim in this filth!!

Walk the lake and then have yourself an ice cream cone while you relax Good service, good waffle cones also have some fast food type food as well.....I liked watching and walkin around the lake.

its not a marina its a pond with a pathway around the pond great fore exercise,biking,,walking,kayaking boating.

Found this park close by our RV park and really enjoyed it. Nice for walking or biking around and our dog loved the beautiful grassy dog park. It's big enough to get a good long walk in and well lit at night to boot. Beautiful!

My husband and I are in town for work and we are lucky to be staying within close proximity to this park. I don't mind the desert, but I need a little green in my life so this is a nice reprieve from the dust and neon lights. There's a two-mile track around the lake for walking, running, biking, roller blading, etc. There are also a couple sand volleyball courts and plenty of picnic tables. I feel safe strolling along on my own. It's just a really calming place to spend time, and I'm so thankful it's close!

Great scenic place to visit and walk or have a picnic. Very dog friendly with disposal bags available. Nice views and scenery for taking pictures. Plenty of parking.

When finding a place to live here in Sparks NV. I wanted a place that had a great park, and something new for the kids. The Sparks Marina has two play parks, which the kids could play on for hours. The beach is cool if you like to play in the sand, and the bike path a great two mile walk around the Marina. You can walk to the outlet mall if you want a good nature/shopping experience. I would recommend visiting this place if you get a chance. It's now my back yard, so fun!!!

other than the fact that the sparks marina is the old Helms Pit it has a nice walk way around it to go for a stroll. I would never eat any fish from there as it was an old construction pit and the fish have had mass deathjs there in the past from lack of oxtgen they say but no way would I eat one from there. but a nice walk can be had watch out for people on their bicycles as they can be rude and obnoxious. people do not keep their dogs under control sometimes but that is just how some people are.

I love everything about this Marina Park. It is fun to watch everyone walk their dogs, people fishing and enjoying the water. My Husband and I go to the Marina every day while we are on vacation in Reno. Just a great place to go because it is very well kept and clean.

The Marina is great to walk or run around, fish in, or bring an approved raft, but the water has a slight unpleasant smell to it:-)

This is a nice lake and marina area in Sparks, Nevada. It is nice for walks, picnics, walking the dog, doing water sports, or boating. There is a marina area on the east side of the lake.

My two large dogs LOVE the dog park. A golden retriever and a german shepherd, they both love the water and would stay there all day if it was up to them. There is usually enough dogs that they can play, and when it's nice and calm - they are in the water swimming out pretty far.
