In 15 years of boating this is the best cove and beach I've ever found. The sand is grainy but clean. The views are unequaled. I can't say enough about the serenity and beauty of this spot. We were there on a quiet day, I'm sure on a weekend it can get packed but it's a hike from the road so maybe not too bad. We boated in and anchored. Great hiking from the spot too.

A bit of a hike out but worth it! Scenic Lake Tahoe, lovely beach, easy access to the water.......great for kids and adults.....popular but not overcrowded especially during the week.
