Dark and gloomy feel to the place and really needs a overhaul. The front exterior is kinda cool but the inside is where it could use some work.

This casino can take you back in time. It still has several machines that pay in coin . It is a little dark inside. The slots are a little looser. Not that crowded and is mainly where the locals go.

during a recent visit to Laughlin, we decided to take a walk along the boardwalk and stopped at the casino. We obtained player's club cards and were given $5 in free play. We played video poker for quite a while on the free play. The casino is old and has nothing extravagant, but we did like that they had some of the older slot machines (which are getting hard to find at some of the other casinos). One benefit of this casino is that it is not loud nor difficult to get around. We will make this a regular casino stop when in Laughlin.

Dreary and not too inviting. All the staff was really nice. The owners need to improve just about everything in the casino. The restaurants are very good.

Laughlin, Nevada isn't exactly a quick and easy place to get to. As such, there are only a handful of casinos in this town. It's a quaint town and built along the same lines of Las Vegas in that it's built totally around the casino business. So when we came to Laughlin, our expectations were low. But even with low expectations, the Pioneer didn't exactly meet them. Walking towards it from the Golden Nugget, from which we had a nice gaming experience, we found that this place is all gimmick and not much else. From the outside and even the inside, it's a gaudy yet cheesy theme park style "western town" with it's design and décor. Once inside however, we weren't that impressed. In fact, we played only a few minutes before moving on. I didn't hit anything and the rest of my party never even played, not seeing anything but the old three-reel slots and video poker, no "name" brand slots to draw our attention. Luckily, I only played (and lost) about $5. I don't know if it was even worth a stop... It was barely worth mentioning in a review. but I guess the point of a Trip Advisor review is to advise you not to come here... Which I highly recommend.

Small casino, smokey, low table limits. Nice grounds. Staff seem friendly. Tiny sports book, very comfy chairs. Good luck getting one. There are only about 10. I would visit again. I got a look at one of the rooms at this motel. It was very nice (suite I believe). I did not stay here.

smelly, dark, not very friendly employees. Small sports book...maybe 15 seats. slots are not that friendly and the cocktail waitress seem to be moody.

We stopped at Pioneer to check out the casino as we hadn't been there in a few years. It was all under construction and most of he machines were not working. Will stop again when they are finished

This place is a dump, smells like cigarettes, kinda dirty, and small, which I like. The staff at the craps table was great !! Had a blast plying for about 3 hours. Table minimums are low, and they aren't out to get you. Would not stay at the hotel, but would go back to play craps anytime !!

Not very many machines that was the disappointment. The service was great and the food was good for the country meals. I would come back for that. Not very crowded but I can see why because Casino very small.

This is an old casino and is quite dark and it just isn't among my favorite casinos. I may have liked it better if I had won any money there, but it was just too dark and smoky for me.

I continue to play at Pioneer because it pays fairly. That's all a player can ask for. I understand its country themed and it really lives up to that...if you're a city gal, you might not love the atmosphere, but don't let that keep you away. Give this place a chance. It will surprise you (and Bumbleberry Flats, Laughlin's best restaurant) is located in the casino. That alone, is reason to go!

Enjoy this casino because I could play old favorites that been discontinued at other casinos. It is small and comfortable. Appreciate all the video casinos.

Such a cute casino. Old school. One of the bars even has coin machines, if you like that! I look forward to staying at the hotel there in the future!
