This place has become like my second home over the years. I started coming here back in 95 or 96, and I still go back every year. The trains can get a little on the agitating side if your new there, nut that just helps to stir up the fish. The lakes are beautiful, especially with the amount of rain we've gotten this past year, and they are constantly adding improvements to the lakes. Multiple lakes are seasonally stocked with Catfish and there are pinkish galore in the lakes as well. Its a very family-oriented campground, with a nice baitshop, a beach to swim, a grocery store and ice cream shop just across the highway, and both primitive and modern campsites. Anyone looking for a wonderful time, just drop by, you're sure to have one.

There is a train track running along one side of the park and freight trains run through every hour or so at all hours, day and night. Also some sort of noisy cement plant or something down the road. Would have enjoyed by stay if I was actually able to sleep.
