We drove over it 2 times to get the full view and lots of pictures. Very nice to be able to experience nature from the car after all the other walking venues.

This bridge is a historical landmark, and is worth seeing. I think the best view of Bryan Bridge is seen by standing on The Cowboy Bridge and looking back across the river. Just a beautiful view, and a good place to take pictures. You may want to bring your telephoto lens, along with your regular lens. I didn't know we were going so all I had to snap pics with was my cell phone. It actually did a pretty good job. :)

This bridge, now set downstream from Highway 20 and situated on a "road to nowhere" for scenic purposes only, won the oddly specific "Most Beautiful Steel Bridge of 1932, Class C" award from a major publication back in its day. The accompanying marker tells us that it is held together with a single pin; even the most irreligious among us may be excused for saying a prayer that this pin is of fine quality. It makes for a good three-minute diversion, and another fine view of the beautiful Niobrara River.
