The new owners have ousted most of the old loyal staff, they are nickel and diming every aspect from range balls to lessons where you can't pick your instructors at a cost of $60. Per hour then they only pay the instructor $20. So the best ones pass on teaching... This course is turning into a place that unless you are related to the owner you will not feel welcome......

Four of us played Oak Valley January 4th and we all agreed this was a great course with great value. It is a Pete Dye(or Pete Dye copy) design with dramatic views, moguls, forced carries over 150 yards, fast and tricky greens, and an overall target golf experience. The course was in excellent condition overall. We played on Saturday in less than 4 and a half hours. Greens fees were very reasonable for Saturday($69). All of us would definitely play here again. The course is rated about 74 from the championship tees, and unless you hit a reasonably long ball(250+ yds), I suggest you play the white tees.

Play from the correct t's and this course is all that you want. Nice lay out/good maintenance. Greens are tricky and if cut for speed ,more than the average golfer needs. Good test..you will probably play over your handicap. A " play again" in the rotation.

Nice course with an interesting layout that punishes wayward shots and rewards strategic lay-ups. The course is well provided with water which was important because we played in record breaking heat; they tried to make it bearable. The clubhouse is OK but not luxurious.

A challenging course which is well maintained. I play there weekly. The staff is great and I enjoy volunteering at their tournaments.

Great facility, most of the staff treat you like they are glad you are there. Course is very tough from the Blue tees, particulary if you play the "extra" tee boxes for certain holes.

I really enjoy this track. They keep the course in great condition, the layout is nice, with lots of elevation changes and a few forced carries. The vegetation is mature, lots of big california pepper trees, pines and oaks. There are some really nice views of the San Bernardino mountains as well. The practice facilities are nice and they even make a pretty darn good burger in the clubhouse.

Great test of skills fromthe correct tees. Greens can get fast..Into the clowns mouth if the course is set up for a tournment..must play!
