Hiking the trail was nice, but the falls are unremarkable. Decent spot for a lunch break. Start early in the day for mist filled views.

Really good hiking trail also nice views of the valley. Bring comfortable shoes cause it is a bit of a long hike but pretty easy.

It's a pleasant enough walk to get here, and a moderately difficult climb (5.8ish?) to get back up it. The CA coastal mtns have many cascades like this in them.

The Castle Rock Falls is located in Castle Rock State Park. One would need to walk 0.8 miles from entrance to the falls. When there, it's basically a small deck with a nice view of the hills and trees, but the falls are on the bottom of the deck. It should be called a creek and not falls because the stream of water flowing out of the rock appears no wider than about 3 feet.
