Great wine, great tasting staff, great owners. A family owned business for I believe three generations. Be sure to visit while in Morgan Hill. Lovely area outside to sit, munch and drink wine.

Have been here before and returned for another tasting. Great wines with fun and unique items in gift store.

Actually, not so little. They have a 150,000 case production which is sizable, some of which is bottled as Guglielmo and more of which, if I understood correctly, is bottled as 2nd and 3rd tier wines for premium wineries in Napa-Sonoma. Founded over 100 years ago by ancestors of the current owners, Guglielmo has that good feel of a family run business and the winery property is very attractive with mission-style buildings accented by antique winemaking equipment. A very nice place to visit with well-made wines for the area. A cool sight awaits in the tank buildings--giant redwood fermentation tanks that are about as old as the winery. You don't see things like that in most California wineries.Unfortunately we visited on a passport weekend, a time the local wineries apparently do not expect visits from real wine geeks like me, and at which only a small selection of their wines is poured so I did not get a very comprehensive impression of what they do here, I can only offer that the wines are decent and the two reds we were poured favor the dill-pine profile of American oak barrels (typical of the area, but not typical of premium Napa wineries where French Oak is favored.)

We visited Guglielmo Winery; it is a large winery on the east side of Morgan Hill downtown. They have a nice vineyard on the property. We enjoyed their Cabernet Sauvignon so ordered a glass of it later the same day in a local restaurant Noah's Bar and Bistro for dinner.

We were recommended this place by our hotel and it was a surprisingly great place to visit. We tried several wines and the staff was very helpful. We are not wine consumers and the staff helped us find what we liked and made great recommendations. We were glad we stopped by.

To fill our time before we departed we decided to visit some local wineries. Fortunately we chose to visit Guglielmo first. Cindy waited on us and she was a delight. The wines samples were all excellent and even allowed me to substitute a very nice port for the bubbly. The place does remind one of being in old Italy. Highly recommend a stop here. And she knew the other local wineries and directed us to ones that were presently open at the early hour we were out looking.....thanks so much....

We have been members for a couple of years and thoroughly enjoy our visits , the wonderful wine and the reasonable prices. We had a birthday party/family get together at the premises and were very happy with the arrangements and the helpful nature of the staff. We plan to have a lot more celebrations there since it has a great ambience. We have visited several wineries all over the world and of course there are many that are remarkable, but in our general area of San Jose this one is outstanding. We especially like their red wines (Pinot Noir), the Champagne and their Port , which is most interesting! We were not in the least surprised to hear that their wines had been served for President Obama during his visit to San Jose:-)

They have various levels of wines at various price points. All very good values for the money. Excellent wine selection, almost any wine you could ask for. The people in the tasting room are pleasant and knowledgeable. They also have a gift shop. There is a tasting fee, but worth it. There are no winery tours, but worth a trip for the wine. Open 7 days a week. They have a quarterly bottle your own wine event which is fun and an excellent value.

We have been a customer of this winery for over 30 years. The owners, Gene and George are two of the nicest people in the world. The personal touch they add to the relationship, plus the outstanding wines they produce make for delightful visits a couple of times a year. The winery venue is nice and inviting and their Christmas Boutique is a must every holiday season.

An unexpected treat. This winery is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. We also enjoyed the wine tasting. Our host told us that the winery does get very busy on the weekend and there is an area outside to sit and drink wine. A must see winery.

A fun event Saturday mornings. Bring your own 750ml bottle and fill and lable it yourself for $5. Or you can also purchase a bottle on site for $1. There is a very generous lunch/snack area where you can continue to eat buffet-style for $5 or for free if you fill a dozen bottles. While in the area, visit other off-the-beaten-path wineries. Everyone has a fun spirit.

The wine is excellent, the Winery historical and easy to access. The events for members and guests are always filled with comfortable and friendly staff. I love that it still is in the original family members and they are FUN!!

Attended many functions at this facility and the family and staff are excellent. The food is usually catered and the grounds are nicely manicured. The wine's at this location are bountiful and many are excellent. At large functions they set up a tent and there's a stage for music that can be used for other than music. I have to disclose that I know several of the brothers and they all are outstanding people with good hearts. This winery is well respected in the community.

I have been to this winery for tasting with friends, business social events, social events and family. Each time I am there I come away with a very peaceful and wonderful experience. The people working there are wonderful and knowledgeable about the wine. If you don't know much about wine the staff will answer all you questions and you will leave with information.

great venue for tasting wine, having a picnic or an event. They have a great gift store also. The wines vary so just depends on what you like. They have a bargain brand I'm not fond of but the other wines are good.
