Casa Barranca is an excellent tasting room to relax and enjoy a flight tasting of the vineyards wines. The atmosphere is very appealing and you can relax, take your time, and leisurely taste the wines.

We stopped here on our trip and sat down at the bar for a flight of wine. We tried 5 wines and all were good. The Pinot was our favorite. The women behind e bar was sweet and the wine maker came out and chatted with us. We bought three bottles, but did not buy he membership. The membership included 4 home deliveries of 4 bottles at 20% off, a free tasting per year (and a free guest?) and an invitation to their annual party in May. The party is at their gorgeous Greene & Greene house in Ojai, which might just make the membership a steal...

Not much in the way of reviews and few choice. But this one was a really nice surprise. Smaller wineries go for unique flavors and blends and for the price we were pleasantly surprised. Ended up taking a Pino Noir and Sangiovese home. Good trip.

We stumbled across this cute little tasting room while parking the car on the way to dinner in downtown Ojai. What a gem! We had a flight of 5 reds and they were all delicious and interesting. If you purchase a bottle, you can apply the cost of the flight goes toward it. We loved the Pinot Noir so bought a few bottles. The room is cozy and inviting and the woman who served us was friendly and helpful. She had a passion for the wine and made us excited about it. I like that the winery is right in Ojai and they use all organic grapes. Also, if you buy a bottle you can bring it to the nearby Italian restaurant Osteria Monte Grappa and they will cork it for you (they have a deal with the wine shop).

I bought a groupon for a wine tasting and complimentary bottle of wine. The place was empty when we got there and the woman giving the tasting was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We ended up signing up for their wine club (in which they send you a bottle every few months). I'm excited to taste more from their selections.

I was looking forward to knowing more about the organic wines, especially since I was on the wine trail trip, and the guy working that day needed to call in some help. He was not happy when wine needed to go to a bucket, but that is why we are at their wine tasting... Discover wines we enjoy. His attitude, was probably more about being over- extended within his work day. Learned nothing, found nothing, disappointed.

Wine tasting here was so fun. They served you at tables. The staff was so nice and generous with letting you try extras. Bought two bottles. Would definitely go back there again. Liked them much better than other local winery!

We came here because we were disappointed with their competitor's place and we couldn't have been more pleased! The wine was fine but the staff made the place great. Fun, friendly and knowledgable. I would recommend this tasting room over their competition down the road!

I loved this tasting room!! Everything from the wine to the layout and ambiance made this the favorite tasting room in Ojai. My wife and I showed up right before a large party had come in for a tasting so we had the more exclusive attention of the gentleman pouring the wine for at least a good portion of our flight. Here's the thing, even while managing the extremely large party that had come in, he still maintained excellent service for all of us sitting at the bar. I dare say I was impressed. So A+ for the service. The wines for the most part were fantastic. This winery does a lot with biodynamics and organic wines so that was a huge bonus for me. They offered two different flights (a 5 taste and a 10 taste or something clost to that). We did the more in depth flight. A good range of wines were offered with some unexpected surprises such as a Cab Franc. The vibe of the place (minus the huge party) was completely laid back. I think that had to do a lot with the clientele and the pourer. We definitely felt more relaxed here. We ended up only picking up a single bottle, but we were keeping our wine purchasing budget under control. We really could have splurged here. Definitley would go back (and possibly join their wine club) next time in Ojai.
