Love that they are taking care of these exotic and rare animals and that we are able to view them. Nice 1/2 day trip if not heading to Sacramento zoo.

What a wonderful afternoon we had at the Kirschner Wildlife Foundation. They have an unbelievable collection of cats and other animals with special needs that no one else wanted or could manage. The animals are obviously lovingly cared for and the facility is very clean. There is nothing else like it.

My husband and I drove up to see the wildlife preserve on a Saturday afternoon. The girl who helped us at the entry point was very friendly. We really enjoyed seeing all the different types of animals they home and care for. I loved seeing the bears. While it's not as fancy looking as a zoo, it was nice to feel closer to the animals. The signage was very informative, as well. It's definitely worth a visit.

We went at opening time, and saw many animals eating breakfast. Very informative for a 9 and 3 year old, and even the adults!

I've always liked Kirshner, they provide a service to animals and support the community as well. They moved to a new facility and have a better setup then they did before. The animals are beautiful and the tour informative.

These folks do a great job with rescue animals. A variety of wild animals on site, all I believe have been rescued from a prior bad environment. A very dedicated staff consists of a lot of volunteers so your fee helps support their efforts. Check it out!

This is such a wonderful facility, especially in a rural area, for abandoned, neglected and/or abused animals. It has always had financial difficulty and depends, in large part, on volunteers and contributions.

These are retired and/or special needs animals that have been given a second chance, clean quarters, and loving care. The cages are a bit small, but the animals appear content. There isn't much shade and it's very hot there in the summer. Best time to visit: spring and fall.

This is a great place to visit if you are in the area, The animals are very well taken care of and so many to look at, We saw ligers, bears, coyotes, owls, deer, lions, tortises, different cat speices and many other cute little critters! Some of the animals have even been on tv shows, they all have a story on their cage of how they came to be there. Very clean, and staff is very nice, Wear your comfy walking shoes!
