I'm so disappointed that you can't just go to the show there now, you have to make reservations! so, no calling friends and saying let's meet in Riverbank for the show!!

This is a nice movie theatre. Seats are really comfortable. The food is too expensive that is no matter where you go. They do sell seats that actually move which is a nice touch, I believe it's the only place around that has these if u pay extra.

This is a very popular theater. If planning to visit here to see a movie, reservations are highly suggested. You even get to reserve your seating! A must to visit!

I tell people about this movie theatre all the time and it's like they don't believe me. It's the only way I'll see a movie anymore in the theatre. It's best to get your tickets on-line before hand so as not to risk the show being sold out. It's a little bit different in that everyone has an assigned seat. That may sound odd for a movie theatre, but it's not when you see the set up. Each chair is fairly large and reclines like a lazy-boy with it's own snack tray that swings over your lap if you choose to use it.The theatre has a traditional snack bar with sodas, icees, popcorn, candy, and other treats like ice cream. Then it has a seperate snack bar that serves red and white wine, various beers and hard ciders on tap or in bottle, good quality hot dogs and huge soft pretzels with cheese.Because of the large seats the 12 screens don't hold as many people as a normal screen might cram in, thus the reason for the frequent sell outs. And on top of all of this luxury, the pricing is relatively the same as other theatres in the area that do not carry these features. There's really not a ton to do in the Riverbank / Oakdale / Escalon / Salida area. If you find yourself here for some reason, spoil yourself with a new movie in style.
