My husband wanted to see the sequoia trees for his birthday. We drove to Tulare the night before and stayed in a hotel. In the morning we still had over an hour and a half to get to the entrance of the park. We did the half day Sequoia Sightseeing Tour which met at 10 Am at the Wuksachi Lodge. The lodge is located in the park, so you need to give yourself enough time to get to the lodge ( 30 min from entrance). The tour lasted about 4 hours and it was a really great tour. We got to see the highlights of the park. There was about 12 of us on the bus/van. Our tour guide was very informative and knew the answers to all of our questions! The park is huge, so if you are trying to see all of it you will need more than a day.

Since we traveled in November, the park service shuttle was closed for the season. After parking our 25ft RV at camp, we had not intention on moving it. Mr Bischoff picked us up at our campsite and gave us a splendid tour for the park. He provided great information and insight. He took us to great spots for photos, and waited patiently while we climbed Moro Rock. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

We took the 8 hour tour with Brad. We had the most wonderful day with both him and our group. It is truly the best way to see this amazing place. The description was spot on. We got to see the highlights of the park but it was also very informative and personal. We have taken a few tours this week (Alcatraz and Yosemite "The Grand Tour) and this was easily the best. Not driving the park was a wise decision..it would have been impossible to see anything in our car. We had plenty of opportunities to get out of the van and take pictures. Moro Rock was beautiful but my favourite thing of the day was the walk down to the General Sherman. Its a moving experience being next to something so big and so old. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Great investment! Glad that we decided to book this tour since it was our first time. No need for driving up and down the mountains, dealing with the crowds, and the construction sights. We did the FULL day tour which began at 8:00am. We stayed at a place in Three Rivers and was picked up by Sheila. We were able to see what the package included:-The General Sherman Tree-Giant Forest museum-Moro Rock-Tunnel Log-Auto Log-A beautiful walk around an enchanted meadow-Lunch stop at Wuksachi LodgeOur group was pretty quiet (which I liked) ranging from all ages. The tour guide gave lots of fun facts and information and we were able to take great pictures. We even saw a couple of bears. I took off one star cause our tour guide made a rude comment. My husband and I took 18 minutes longer to hike Moro Rock because I'm scared of heights. Sheila should have never said, "Go at your own pace." And even though I was scared of heights, it doesn't mean that I didn't want to go up Moro Rock and experience Sequoia's beauty. It just took me longer!!! I just thought she was a bit rude like we were so late we ruined the whole tour. Sorry for making the group wait 18 minutes! Anyways, we still tipped her cause we didn't have to drive and secondly, I just think she shared way too much information about her personal life that she could definitely use it. Definitely book this tour! Great learning experience.

After several days of long driving we decided to let someone else take the strain. You have to book on line because they do not answer the phone. We booked about 6:00 pm and got a reply within the hour. We were collected from our camp site at the 8:20 am specified. We were in a small mini bus, three of us. Paul the driver and tour guide was brilliant, knowledgeable and good fun. We were taken all over the park often away from the crowds and shown trees and sights we would have missed. You do stop for lunch but that is another review. The price includes, pickup and return to site and admission to the park it a great 8 hour day out, well worth the money.

My wife and I took the full day tour and it is the only way to see Sequoia National Park. We got a lot of "inside" information from Brad, our tour guide, who was very knowledgable and engaging. It is not worth driving inside the park with all the narrow, winding roads so I highly recommend this tour. Such a beautiful place!

No driving to see and area of out standing beauty and very bendy roads. Very informative, small groups of people from all over. Warning take a jumper - it can get chilly up high.

we took both of the full days tours to Sequoia and Kings Canyon and had the pleasure of spending the day with both Brad and Paul….what great tour guides they are! Gave of lots of information about the parks as well as some great stories of their own experiences in the Parks. they couldn't have been more congenial or in tune with their tour guests. I would recommend both of these tours to anyone, both families and old folks like us!

Our family took the full day tour of Sequoia with Brad. In our opinion this is the best way to ENJOY the park. Saved the brakes on the car and no backseat driving on my part. It was incredibly hot the day we toured and the van was cool and comfortable. There are crazy drivers in these parks and I wasn't one of them!

Paul and his team are fabulous. They went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of our group. Informative, friendly, personalized service. Watching Paul run through the park pushing my father's wheelchair to get him out of the rain was hysterical, but ultimately, it was so very appreciated. I wish every guide service around the world would take lessons from this team. Remember to book ahead to get the dates you want, but with a little shuffling, even our last minute add-on trip to Kings Canyon was handled with ease.

My husband and I took the full day tour of Sequoia with Brad this week, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very informative, and best of all, we didn't have to drive those hairpin curves! We could both relax and just enjoy the day. Well worth the money!

Leave the driving to then best way to enjoy your trip. We were there Sept 11 and 12, 2014. Also Three Rivers is very quite town with good eats. This was our first visit to Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and we were so impressed. Paul, our guide for two days, made sure that we saw some of the smaller, less known sites as well as the big attractions. He is knowledgeable, entertaining, and friendly. You will love it!
