I have stopped here several times since I found it over the years. The art is very impressive and charged with action and emotion. I have taken many friends to see it and my children always loved to leave something. Stop, spend some time with the art, and experience something unexpected.

It is sobering. It makes you reflect. If you or your loved ones have been in a war or cared for those in a war, you owe it to yourself and/or them for their efforts/commitment/sacrifice. On the left, after you enter, there is a small shelter. Inside, there are brochures about the various sculptures. If they are out, proceed down the drive on the right and you will come to them. The brochure helps to explain the artist's motivation/thoughts for each creation. The sculptures are beautiful. Their message is poignant. Well worth a stop.

This place is in the middle of nowhere. We thought we had missed it as we were driving up from the south, but we eventually came to it. We drove right in. There were several metal sculptures of men and women, as well as a few memorial stones. The sculptures were all named. It is such as amazing tribute to the soldiers. Hats off to the man who created this spot. As well, there is a monument that has hundreds of names of soldiers listed. Lots of parking. No rest rooms available.

I went there after I read about it in the Newspaper. It was a warm afternoon and I was alonea soft wind was blowing and there some wind Chime off in the distance.I walked through thewhole park. I felt as though I wasn't alone some 58,000 Solders kept me company. I havebeen back 4 or 5 times.

This was a desolate place in a beautiful setting between Mt Shasta and another mountain. We did not know what to expect and we were suprised at how moving these sculptures are. The Veteran who did these and started this is to be highly commended. The subject matter and sculptures are carefully placed in stark settings and are very thought provoking and moving. I saw old vets here sitting in front of the POW sculpture crying. This park is there to honor, heal and help us remember. Don't miss if you are in the area.

My son and I travel the 4+ hours (from Sacramento) every memorial day weekend to pay tribute to my dad at the Korean War sculpture. We have been going there since 1999. I think we have missed two times. It is worth the 4 + hour drive. The scenery is just awesome and the feelings you feel when you see the sculptures. The MIA sculpture just breaks my heart everytime. Watch out for all the lizards running around YIKES. It is worth the trip. Thanks.

another stopping point on the way to Oregon. the sculptures are interesting, and the way they are set in the terrain is also unique. make sure to enter the loop road where the entrance is and not like the driver who drove in front of us and didn't understand why are we so amazed of what she was doing...

We were told to take the time to stop by this amazing all metal Sculpture Garden. My husband is a vet and this was such a moving memorial to both of us. It is on your way from Weed to Bend. takes less than an hour to walk the the whole area. Worth the stop!

A surprise for my kids and I. In the middle of nowhere. The statue titled MIA-POW made we want to cry. A man in a cage tied down by chain, the sculpture sits on a wind swept high plain. No people. Just the sound of the wind. So isolated and desolate. You can begin to understand what EXTREME sadness, desperation, hopelessness these people feel. I have never been so moved at a war memorial. My children "got it" too. There are about 7 statues, all excellent in execution and so meaningful. A must see!

Being a veteran...I was taken back by the garden...I did shed many tears...well worth the stop....and the person responsible for this lives on site.

This garden is certainly worth a visit when you are traveling between Weed and Klamath Falls on Highway 97. The sculptures are beautifully made and prompts one to sit and remember those that have given so much for our freedom. The area is quite rustic and the perfect venue for a leg-stretching walk and reflection. There are many deer in the area and a good place for a family to unwind after a long trip.

This experience will challenge your senses, as well as your intellect. The stark and lonely figures, in their stark and lonely setting, evoke profound emotion. Be aware of wildlife.

Sitting at the base of beautiful Mt Shasta, this memorial garden is a fine tribute to our men & women who served our country. The sculptures were beautiful, and the peace and solitude of this place, was the perfect setting to reflect and honor our troops.

I was intensely moved by the unique beauty of these sculptures and by the way they capture the pain and inhumanity of war. I thought of my father, a Korean war vet. and the many friends who survived the Vietnam war. But mostly I thought of a possible addition to this garden; a sculpture that expresses the hope that we might someday stop giving our dollars and our bodies and our children to the war machine. Thank you to everyone who works to maintain this memorial, and thank you to the artist, Dennis Smith. Viewing your sculpture was like seeing into your dreams. Beautiful work.
