This is the restored yacht previously belonging to Pres. FDR. See previous review for this place. Its well worth including in the visit to Jack London Square where it is berthed. It is adjacent to the SF Ferry dock.

Thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour of FDR's The Potomac docked in Jack London Square. We saw a museum first with a great video, and then boarded the vessel for a trip to the past.

We went out on the Potomac to see America's Cup races. The trip was amazing! The Potomac volunteers and staff were so nice and did a great job of navigating the boat. There is a visitor center to see some historic items and a video show before boarding the boat. The Potomac does special events and open for visit. See their web site for current activities. The Potomac was Franklin Roosevelt's Floating White House. The entire history is interesting to hear about and the boat and ship's quarters are fun to tour.We parked in a Jack London Parking lot and it was about a five minute walk from there.
