This is the home stadium of the great Oakland A's (ATHLETICS)! Although we lost in a playoff round to Kansas City (MISSOURI) Royals in 2014, the A's are still my home team! Hopefully we do much better with upcoming baseball 2015 season! Stomper the Elephant is a really fun mascot!

I went and seen the monster energy supercross here while the race was excellent the staff really didn't really know where things re the tickets to see riders were sold as well as having no personality what so ever. And as every stadium you go to you get over priced reheated oily food

I visited this stadium to watch the N.F.L. Oakland Raiders. It is easily accessible by way of Amtrak and the local train service(BART) and Interstate 880.The stadium itself was built in the late 1960's and was remodeled in 1995. It has good sightlines to view afootball game. It is the only stadium that is shared by both an NFL and major league baseball team. If you're into looking at beauty, this isnot one to gaze your eyes at,but there is good value,$35 upper deck tickets.

I come from Oakland. I have been to the Oakland Coliseum many times. I started going to the Oakland Coliseum in 1972 when I was 17 years old to see the Dramatics with James Brown. I used to see the REAL Raiders play there also and the Oakland A's. But you have to remember always where you are at. YOU better have swivel head and be looking around you in every direction because you will never know when something will break out. I make sure that I look all around me at all times because Oakland is NO JOKE. YOU can come up missing if you look like you are a tourist. YOU have to blend in and protect yourself and not be having your head up in the clouds. All I can say about Oakland is be CAREFUL. Growing up in Oakland has made me live here in the Philippines in my 60's. hahhhhahaah LMAO. Good luck.

Well, it's old, lots of tarp, crazy fans, losing streaks, cavernous concourses, what else... It's a cool stadium to visit... It's great Oakland pride to see the A's and the Raiders play at the same stadium! That's why I gave it 3 Stars.

The coliseum is actually a very lovely, spacious and cool venue, I'll start with that. If I were purely judging the facility it would get 4.5 stars for sure. It's very large and easy to get around with plenty of concession stands and fairly clean restrooms. Plus, you got to love a place with a full bar. However, our experience there was not very lovely. A warning that my review is heavily biased since I'm a smoker, but the facility did not allow reentry into the event once you were checked in and the facility is entirely a smoke free one (despite having several stories, and lots of patio). I don't understand that at all! I completely get that smoke free is the trend but why you wouldn't allow your smoking patrons to exit and reenter (greatly contributing to their comfort and enjoyment of the event) is beyond me. Letting that go, the prices for food, drink and parking were downright offensive. I'm not a bay area native, and that may be comparable for the area, but I will most likely never go back for that reason alone ($26 for two tiny, weak cocktails? What is this, Vegas?) Additionally, my first experience with the coliseum was through their website and that was a horrid experience in itself. There was so much incorrect and conflicting information (if you could even find what you're looking for), it was extremely frustrating. The only factor contributing to the 3 stars was how friendly the staff was and how accessible the restrooms were.

Went to see Mets vs. Athletics at the Coliseum in August with my daughter. I'm English and a baseball fan and I don't mind who I see and this was the most convenient game for us on this trip. Drove to the stadium (allow plenty of time) and as it was a Tuesday it was free parking in the lot. Good crowd in as at this point the Athletics were still wining (before late season collapse). It was a really good night, capped of by a home team win.

We went to the Oakland Colliseum to see a staged basketball match featuring the famous Harlem Globetrotters and were not disappointed. The trip there on the subway was fast and safe (although extremely noisy) and the crowd at the venue were good natured and very polite. The venue was within a ten minute walk of the subway station and although we were aware that Oakland is one of the USAs most dangerous areas we at no time felt unsafe.

This was an Incredible time! It was my son's and I first Raiders Game. What made it even better was the fact that it was their first win this football season. Loved every moment of it!!!

The stadium and the product on the field are terrible at best. It's a tradition trip for myself and my friends and we do enjoy coming down to Oakland from Seattle to visit friends, however, the stadium is old and needs major upgrades to be on par with some of the better stadiums in the NFL. The team has been terrible for some time now and every time we come down they seem to lose. I know there's nothing that can be done but I'm sure we'll continue to come to this outdated stadium until a new one is built.

Saw the A's as they were closing out their season in September. I really enjoy the park on a sunny Oaktown day!

My husband has been a huge raider fan since he was 12 years old, Its been his dream to see the Raiders in Oakland his whole life. He was thrilled( and so was I seeing him thrilled) We had a wonderful time, we sat in Legends Log and loved it..Saw some ex Raider football players that came to sign autographs and take pictures. We had free food chicken, sliders, pork BBQ, hotdogs, salad and a salsa trio. Free sodas and water 2 alcoholic beverages per person. A great deal, Francisco sold us our tickets and answered all my questions!alot) Zarick called before to make sure we didnt get lost. Zarick & Anwaar came by to make sure we had a great time, and it was an amazing time. Thank you!

The coliseum is in a great location - for public transportation, too. Highway 880 and 580 both nearby. Two exits off 880 will take you to each side. Bart station with bridge that connects to coliseum. Train station also nearby. Pay for lower or 2nd level seats. They are worth the small difference in price.

If you can, drive to a BART station and take it, so much easier than any parking situation and quicker, they have several trains leaving when the game ends. The facility is older. Food options are typical fare, overpriced sandwiches, hot dogs, pretzels, etc. Ate BBQ which was absolutely delicious and the most reasonable at @$10. Water is $5 for a tiny bottle and alcoholic drinks are exorbitantly priced so tailgate. Lots of security and friendlier than expected crowd.
