We like this 1077 acre park as there are so many amazing things to do here. First, there is the 92 acre reservoir. One can go non-power boating on Stevens Creek Reservoir; there are fishing opportunities. Types of fish include bass, catfish, and crappie. There is both shoreline picnic areas, as well as several nice picnic areas in the shaded wood area. There is also group picnic areas.There are many multiple use trails that we have enjoyed hiking. In addition, this area is popular with mountain bikers. There are equestrian trails;horses and guided horse rides can be arranged through Garrod Farms stables, just outside the south entrance of the park.There is an excellent archery range that is enjoyed by all types of archers beginning to advanced. There are 28 stations at the archery park.In addition, the park is very popular with people who love birds. Over 125 different bird types have been seen here.There is a county park fee. There is a ranger station at the park. There is lots of parking in the different picnic areas. There is also a stream that flows by a few of the picnic grounds.
