Take a tour, take a taste, have a picnic, enjoy the view! After 45 years of regular visits, it never gets old.

This part of California is beyond words. If you enjoy champagne you must stop. People are friendly and the tasting room is generous with the goods. The scenery is perfect and the grounds are immaculate. Even with kids this is awesome and worth the time. Great setup for some awesome picture taking, too.

Visited Korbel Champagne Cellar because a friend referred it as a place to visit. It was our first time and our friends joyed us. It took a while to get there, but once we were there, it was beautiful. The scenery I thought was just gorgeous. The tour was free and the guide was very informative. I had a good time tasting wine after . As a first timer, I really enjoyed it.

Tradition is alive and well at Korbel. You can get some great bottles and varieties of Champagne that you cannot get in stores. The tasting is free which is a bonus and the ladies pouring are always informative and kind. I come here every time I visit Guerneville. If you don't like Champagne the restaurant has several great snacks and some great beers. I love to visit Korbel!

We did not opt to take the tour since we were scheduled to go to several wineries on Saturday. The buildings were beautiful and looked very European. We were surprised that the four wine tastings were free. It was very crowded but the staff kept up with the crowded bar and told us about each wine. I did choose the champagnes but was not that impressed enough to buy. In another building is a deli where a person can buy lunch, soda, wine and Russian River beer. We tried the Pliny the Elder beer but the taste was too hoppy for me. I know it has won awards and this beer is hard to find. There is a gift shop and we did buy some Korbel champagne glasses.I would recommend trying this very famous winery.

Oldest champagne producer in California, incredible buildings and did I mention FREE tour and tastings! Very interesting story of the history of Korbel and the champagnes are extraordinary. We love bringing new people here, they are always presently surprised.

The tour was very good. Champagne and wine tastings were excellent. And all for free! Highly recommend!

Korbel makes some great champagne and I was surprised to see the have "still" wines for tasting as well. We had a great visit. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. We did the tour and really had a great time learning about the long history. Highly recommend the tour and stay for a fantastic lunch at the delicatessen on site!

I don't like champagne until today. Tasted some really good stuff and walked away with a bottle of champagne and brandy. The tour was interesting and informative. A must stop on your wine country tour.

you at least wanna give american "champagne" a try and have a tasting session? Do it at Korbel's.It is already touristic, yes. it is loud "the american way", yes. but have you spend lately an afternoon amongst potential buyers from China at a Reims taking room? Korbel has a list of 15-17 "champagnes" to offer the first 4 for free. The bar is combined with the show room of fashion and apparel. the counter to buy is small but efficient, And next door is a hang-out that offers small but excellent bistro-kind of food, all eco and good. Including a great espresso that is not a given in this area. And the "2010 Brut based on organic grapes only" was excellent, and for $ 8,xx on sale a real challenge for any Methode Champenoise but for some Champagne' even. The tour I didn't take - I assume they do it the way Methode is done traditionally. The weather was great on a New Year's day, sitting in the sun, having a champagne outside on a 31.12.

I'm not a fan of champagne but this was a cool place to visit and tour. Free tasting and free tour. Tour tells how korbel started and shows how champagne was made and how it's made now.

One of the best wineries we visited during our recent trip to Wine Country, set in beautiful scenery, and definitely one of the more attractive wineries (IMHO).The delicatessen had a fine selection of foods, all of which were tasty, can recommend the bags of popcorn they sell here, the sandwiches were also pretty special. The free wine tasting was excellent, with the hosts being both knowledgable and very approachable and also very generous with their samples. Can recommend their Muscato Frizante! awesome!
