Absolutely recommend visiting Inglenook. Lovely. You may even have a Francis Ford Coppola sighting like we did! I would suggest a tour rather than just a tasting, because the property is gorgeous!

Excellent informative tasting - expensive but worth it. Wonderful setting and spectacular tasting rooms in a beautiful dating back 150 years. If you only have time for one winery, choose this one!

Great place to visit even if you are not participating in a tasting. The Copolla relics fill the top floor museum and the building and property had an astounding old world beauty.

This was by far the most comprehensive wine history lesson I have been given. This chateau is were Calafornia possibly even the entire United States wine scene was born. I do have to say the wines here are of the finest quality and it may not be enjoyed by an unrefined palette. The Coppalas have done an amazing job. Check out the Francis Ford Copella winery as well for a more entry level of wines, they offer excellent estate selections as well.

We opted to do just the tasting since many in our group had been before. The wine was just as delicious as ever, and the grounds were beautiful. I definitely recommend making a trip here!

Had one of the most in-depth guided tours I've ever had in Napa by the mustachioed Mr. Francis. Heard the entire story of the Estate, the families, the wines and more. The tour of the house was amazing and the gift shop has probably one of the finest choices and variety of any in Napa. There is a small sit-down cafe on the grounds, so if you come early for your tour, there is another location to relax. The wines were good (not excellent) but we bought the Rubicon and the Cask Cab ... they should cellar well.

I've been there twice: once with a tour and wine tasting, and this last time just to visit. The estate is beautiful, the Coppola museum very fascinating and the gift shop beautifully displayed. This is a great stop for photography. The entry to the museum and the house is free to the public, however all the other "experiences" as they are called are expensive, and if you can afford it, definitely worth it. The people who work at the estate are friendly and very good. The previous time I visited, I had the opportunity to see Francis Coppola because on warm days he can be seen sitting in the bistro taking a break in the late afternoon. He actually lives on the property and on occasion will come down.

We went for an evening tour of the vineyard, then enjoyed a wine and cheese pairing. The estate is beautiful and the wine was delicious!

We did the Inglenook Experience and it was by far the best winery tour I have been on. We had a cute French guy that was our tour guide and he was very informative. Beautiful grounds! The best part was the tasting in a private room and I am in love with the Rubicon. There was 4 of us that did the tour and we all loved everything about Inglenook. One of the best wineries to visit and we will definitely be back!

We have been several times to this winery and never been disappointed. Very knowledgeable tasting room crew and interesting displays. One of the most beautiful buildings in the area.

The setting of this winery is breathtaking. We drove up on a gorgeous afternoon. The museum has so many interesting things, like Francis Ford Coppola's zoetrope collection and movie memorabilia. Sitting outdoors under a canopy of trees sipping an excellent glass of wine was heavenly! Definitely worth the trip.

The Coppola family is very generous to open their winery and family history to the public. They show an appreciation for the history of the estate including their predecessors. The outdoor seating at the wine bar has a bucolic setting that I would compare favorably to any i Europe.

Confess that Inglenook is simply one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in Napa. During previous trips, I really enjoyed the Amuse Tasting (no longer offered?) and the Experience tour; while this visit I decided to try the Bistro as I had some time to kill between vineyard visit b and vineyard visit III. Simple enough...baguettes of bread for sale and then a variety of both cheese and salami to pick and choose. Nothing fancy and that just so worked for me on my birthday. My choice of wine was the 1882, took a seat outside on a glorious Oct afternoon, a table to my left of 4 guys doing pretty much the same, I squeezed in some reading, had a nice chat with Harold (send my regards to Peter) behind the bar, bought two bottles of 1882, and then off to my next tasting. What a great lunch.

Can't fault the setting, straight out of a film who could be entitled 'Once upon a time a wine château somewhere in France'. The kind of presentation that only Hollywood can deliver.Knowing the name of the owner this should not be a surprise. But i came for the wines, more precisely to see, taste actually, the wines signed by the newly acquired Maître de Chais, Philippe Bascaules. I used the word 'acquired' advisedly: to get Monsieur Bascaules to move from Château Margaux, to Ingelnook must have cost the proprietor a sizeable amount.Johnny Hugel use to say that in order to judge the quality of wine produced by a winery you had to be impressed, or not, by their entry level wines. The Sauvignon Blanc 2013 was terribly ordinary: uni-dimensional and hollow; The '1882' Cab.bland and without any particular personality. Finally the Rubicon Cab 2011 showed real class and elegance which was hoped for at $50.00 a glass. Philippe Bascaules has a long way to go before making his wines, all his wines a significant experience.

The estate is one of the more historically significant and Francis Ford Copala has done an excellent job. The tour is very informative and the estate facility has been preserved so well you will truly appreciate the walk and information. Of course the tasting is OUTSTANDING. The Rubicon is the highlight but each sample is worth the tour on its own.
