This pit-stop at the end of the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park has a beautiful view. Worth getting out of your vehicle for!! My husband proposed to me at this location, so it holds a special place in my heart! A must see if in the North Unit!

Definitely worth the hike up the butte, but also NOT handicapped accessible. View was great, even had a family up there flying a kite. The area has had a lot of rain, so you have to watch where you are walking as the trails can be quite muddy and the soil is clay based. This will be a temporary problem as the rainy cycle ends.

This is a beautiful park. We saw buffalo, white tail deer, longhorn cattle, and more Views from the area are amazing. There are lots of nice hiking trails. The drive to the end of the road is well worth doing as the different views, the information about the history of the area, and more are all worth taking your time to enjoy.The drive from Dickenson to this part of the park is busy due to the current booming energy business there (June 2014).

THis end of the line viewpoint for the North unit of the TR state park is well worth the trip! The views are stunning (especially at sunset) . Distinctively different from the South unit of TR state park, the North unit has a beauty alll it's own !

The park road was closed for repairs so this oft-photographed overlook was only accessible during the summer and fall of 2012 by hiking there - if planning on driving to it, be sure to call Theodore Roosevelt National Park to see if the road is open.

Um hinzugelangen, muss man vom Südteil des TRNP ca. 150 km zurücklegen. Der Overlook befindet sich ganz am Ende der Loop-Road. Man hat einen wundervollen Blick auf das Tal des Little Missouri und die Landschaft.

De oxbow overlook is een onderdeel van het Roosevelt National Park. Een bezoek aan het Roosevelt National Park is een must als je in North Dakota bent. North Dakota is voor de rest nogal saai, maar dit park maakt alles goed. Het is zo mooi en er is zoveel wildlife te zien. Er zijn heerlijke korte hikes te maken met spectaculaire aangezichten.
