Since the flood, little has been done to repair the bridges or any of the trails effected. Still a lot of damage to the area as well as trash.

Since the floods in Minot the river walk is very disappointing, much of the trail is in disrepair. There is a lot of garbage in the river and on the banks, Chamber of Commerce needs to get on this and make improvements and repairs!

Great little park with a lot to see. Very calming walk and some wildlife but not a lot. Great benches to sit and enjoy the view. If you want some peace and quiet this is the place for you.

The river moved and destroyed much of the area. They were rehabbing some while we were there, so it may be better in the future

This river walk was far below my expectations. While I was not expecting anything like in San Antonio or other cities, this one is rather dull. The river is more of a creek, and is not particularly scenic, as the river banks are built up for flood purposes, with questionable water quality. There is some wildlife to see, especially during migrations. You do get a rare view of the old part of Minot, both good and bad. Bottom line: OK if you're in Minot for a while and have run out of things to see.

This was something different! We walk every day, and here we saw some beautiful sights even though they are still cleaning up from the devestating flood, they are working so hard to get this and the zoo going! We saw two types of turtles in the river, cranes, geese and several types of ducks, herons and schools of fish, met some very nice local people who shared their stories. A very pleasurable experience, thank you North Dakota, will be back next year!
