People were friendly and beautiful landscape, there were some construction delays. Make sure you do pay attention when driving though since native people do not have to have license plates or insurance if you have an accident too bad your insurance company footing whole bill did not get to see all area attractions since weather did not cooperate and we were on a motorcycle

I can't speak for all the natives here, but the VAST majority are rude, intolerant, arrogant people. If you are white, prepare to feel like a 1950's african american. Unbelievable!

I work on Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. As far as reservations go this one is average.

Friendly People and a beautiful landscape. The Earth Lodge Village in Newtown is not to be missed. The oil boom has made travel difficult so be prepared for construction delays on the roads and the presence of hundreds of semi trucks.

I've been to the 4 Bears Casino there for some concerts in the Summer of 2006 and they had some Pow-Wows going on too. The Tribal leaders there had some good manners. They were concerned about the welfare of their cutomers and they made me feel comfortable.
