island park pool

Kids and me liked it very much specially when they open the deep one for diving, best ever when visit with friends. But changing rooms need some more privacy. It has only 2 pathrooms in men space. Also, needs regular cleaning the water from tree leaves fallen into pool. I like swimming in Summer.

Nie but can be way overcrowded no hot days. Pretty Island Park behind the pool. No mini-pool or fountain for little ones.

This pool is often packed in the summer, but there still seems to be room for kids to play. My son loves the diving boards and this pool has the best ones in town. There is not a slide or other activities that you have to pay more to do. That is a nice feature! We like going to the pool on the hot summer days. When there is a slide the kids always want to pay more for that option. It's nice to have Island Park where they can play the entire day without paying extra.

For the older kid- ages 9-15- this is a great pool. My son loves to dive so he prefers this pool over others. There are pools in town with "attractions" like slides etc. but no diving boards. There is a basic swim pool and then a deeper pool for diving. the pool is busy but not crowded most days in the summer. We wish is were closer to our home so we could bike to it~ but it's worth the drive. I can sit outside, under trees, on the cement steps and read a good book while still keeping an eye on my swimmers.

This pool sits on the south edge of the downtown business district and just west of the Red River. The front of the pool incorporates the art deco facade of the former Fargo arena which opens to balconies that overlook this outdoor Olympic-sized pool. There are many lanes to cater to lap swimmers as well as a separate diving pool with a high board catering to aquatic thrill seekers.

If it's summer and the pool is open, this is a pretty good facility to entertain yourselves. There's a very large pool deck and the changing facilities are clean with ample storage. There is a kiddie pool included, which has lifeguards. There is also a diving pool where you can high-and-low dive, so quite a bit of entertainment for the buck.
