Hamilton Cellars has recently opened up their new estate winery on Red Mountain. We went last Saturday to taste the wine and check out the new digs. After enjoying the company of Russ and Staci Hamilton in the club members room the guys ventured outside to have their cigars along with a delicious Malbec. The owners turned on the out door fire pit and provided us with stadium blankets as we enjoyed the lovely sunset. They have a great set up, delicious wine, and an amazing view. We are looking forward to the summer weekends they are planning with good wine, good music and good friends. Stop by soon and say hi!

We first discovered Hamilton Cellars when they were in Richland. This was our first visit to their new winery building on Red Mountain, and it's pretty special. You walk in the front doors and there's a wall of windows overlooking the valley and the Yakima River; gorgeous. We tried all the wines, and left with a couple of bottles of Malbec. We had a good time here, chatting with other visitors, talking about the wines. Be sure to check out the bathroom before you leave... the sink is spectacular.

Walking in the front door, you are welcomed with a seating area reminding you of home. Often Staci and Russ are seated there welcoming all comers. Step up for a wine tasting. Whether you enjoy Whites or Reds, they have what you like. I started out strictly drinking Reisling, but have to admit their Malbec is awesome! The view out back is stunning! Step outside and relax by the fire when it's chilly, or relax in the gazebo. Time it so you can enjoy the setting sun over the Red Mountains. Check in advance to see if they are having any music or catering for your visit.
