We have zip lined before but always in tropical settings. To have this experience in our own backyard is a treasure! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and helpful. The course showcases Northwest forest environs beautifully. The structures and lines are built with care and well-positioned to give a great experience while maintaining the highest standard of safety. The dismount from the last zip is truly unique! We highly recommend this activity and will be sharing it with family and friends whenever possible.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Canopy Tours NW. I had missed a discount when I booked and the office staff called to notify me of the coupon code and issue me a refund for the amount I had overpaid. This was the first thing that impressed me about the company. We had a large group of 10 and they were very accommodating to our group, even providing gloves and hand/toe warmers for those that had forgotten to bring some. Fox and Kaley were great tour guides, offering fun and knowledge about the forest canopy. Kaley was an especially good sport with "Aaron". Their expertise made even the most nervous in our group feel comfortable, you can tell they truly enjoy what they do. Anyone visiting the Camano Island area would be remiss to skip out on this great experience with a truly great company.

We celebrated our son's 16th birthday yesterday at Canopy Tours NW in Camano Island, WA. The tour guides, Travis F and David V were entertaining and FANTASTIC! they explained everything along the way, and made sure to keep the teenagers safety focused, while still having a good time. The tour was about 2 1/2 hours long for our group of 10, and there was a mid stop after the 3rd zip line where we enjoyed complimentary apple cider, water and a fire pit to warm up. Although the temperature was a bit cold, due to the November Washington weather, we lucked out and had sunshine the entire day! We rented three of their GoPro cameras which conveniently attach to your helmets. Unfortunately two of the GoPro's memory cards were full by the time we completed the 5th zip line. My advice would be to turn your GoPro camera off during one of the zip lines so you can preserve the battery and storage space. The 5th & 6th zip lines are the longest, fastest and the one's you really should video tape. We purchased the birthday package which is a really good deal (10 people for the price of 6). Canopy Tours NW has a barn that you can rent for a small additional charge. They will put tables in there for you along with a heater. The staff helped us plan our event by recommending a local pizza place in Stanwood which is just a short distance down the road. The pizza place was called Sahara Pizza and they have fantastic gourmet pizza. Canopy Tours NW is conveniently located across from a grocery store shopping plaza. They accept all the major credit cards. There are 3 port a potties onsite and a small gift shop where you can purchase a T-Shirt, rent a GoPro camera ($30) and purchase some other items. The staff surprised us after our tour by giving my son a free T-Shirt for his birthday. That was such a nice gesture! The staff at Canopy Tours NW are extremely pleasant and helpful. This is the only place in Washington that stays open year round. Every other zip line place I called closes at the end of October. It was a wonderful experience and a great activity to do for a birthday for all ages!

We want to send Canopy Tours NW a BIG thank you for an amazing day zip lining! Our company decided to have a fun day out with Canopy Tours and they did not disappoint. They were able to host our large group of 26 people for hours of fun. We had a drizzly day, but were lucky to have the rain hold off for most of the course. Our group of 26 people was split into 2 subgroups of 13 people each. All of the tour guides were awesome. The guides in both groups were safety oriented and helped to make those in our groups feel comfortable with their fear of heights. They explained everything so that we would feel comfortable and safe when zipping across the lines. They were informative about the local surround scenery and were able to answer any questions our team threw at them. The guides also had a great sense of humor, and kept our team laughing throughout the day. Canopy Tours also helped coordinate catering options for our team. We wanted to offer snacks before the tour and have a dinner for our staff members and family to enjoy after the tour. They came through with flying colors helping suggest with whom to contact and pricing. Our team enjoyed sandwiches, beverages, and delicious cookies before zipping, only to come back to an amazing family style Italian feast. The barn on property had a great ambience and Canopy Tours provided some small space heaters to help keep our team warm inside the barn. We appreciated all of Canopy Tours hard work and will proudly recommend them to anyone! We look forward to seeing you again in the future, and THANK YOU so much!

So much fun. Have been zip lining before in Costa Rica and loved it. This was just as fun. Really loved the night time zip. The dark made it as exciting as doing this during the day.

My family was looking for an outdoor adventure in this part of Washington state. None of us had ever been zip lining before so we were not sure what to expect.First off the location is just beautiful. The farm is well maintained and gives a very professional feel to the organization. The check in process is fast and efficient. Then we met our guides, Fox and Chris. The got us outfitted in gear and made the whole process fun and educational. The tour involves 6 separate zip lines, two short walks, a log and rope bridge and finally an easy rappel. I am not very athletic and I found the tour fairly easy. The entire tour takes 2.5 fo three hours depending on group size. There were 8 people in our grouo and by the end we were friends and actually traded email addresses. The guides very funny and entertaining while also being in complete control. We will be back again soon. This was one of our best family adventures for a very long time.

What a great time. I've been ziplining twice before - once in Whistler BC, and once in Kauai. The trip in Whistler, probably at least 10 years ago, was a blast and I really enjoyed it. The one in Kauai, 2 years ago, was terrifying. So when my sister-in-law asked if I wanted to join a group going for my sister's birthday, I was hesitant, but decided to suck it up and do it. So glad I did. The booking experience, online, was a breeze. Check in was as simple as filling out a form. Then we went right into the barn, got into gear, and were on the first line in about fifteen minutes. Safety rules were brief and simple, yet covered everything. The guides were a lot of fun, and really meshed with our group well. There are six zip lines--yes, a few are short, but still thrilling, a short suspension bridge, and then a rappel down from the final platform. Now let me tell you why I found this trip much more comfortable than the one in Kauai, as I feel like it might help someone who is nervous about trying this trip. In Kauai, you usually have to climb up stairs to the top of a platform--one as tall as 70 feet! Once there, you are hooked onto the line, and you basically have to step off the platform. There is then a brief, brief moment of free fall until the slack is taken up and you settle into your harness. My brain could not get over the fact that I was stepping into the abyss. Now at Canopy Tours NW, you don't have to climb up high to get to a platform. Maybe five or six steps, max. On the platform, there are two or three steps up to where you get hooked to the line. By the time you come back down those steps, you are already fully supported and sitting in your harness. All you have to do is lift your toes, and off you go, flying through the trees! Now, all the people in my group had also done this in Kauai and preferred that experience; however, they are all younger adrenaline junkies. I much, much preferred this tour. I felt much more comfortable and safe. I'm definitely looking forward to trying this again! Oh, and the part where you "rappel" out of the tree sounds much more scary than it is. You are actually just lowered straight down from the platform, and it's kind of fun! Also, bonus points for Barney, the big, lazy, laid back office cat who loves tummy rubs!

We took our 12 year old as an early birthday present. We had a great time. Guides were excellent at explaining things and yet not over explaining. They were entertaining as were the number of others we zipped with. What would have made it more fun was more time on lines less time waiting our turn in a tree. For the price paid I'd like to see less people in a group. It won't stop me from going again, and yet no way I can afford to as often as I'd like.

My husband and I were in Camano Island for our 17th wedding anniversary. We always wanted to go zip-lining and thought this would be a fun experience. The guides were wonderful and put us at ease. It was an exciting and exhilarating experience to zip-line through the forrest. We would definitely do it again.

This was the third zip line experience my husband and I have done. The staff was very professional and went over the safety rules quickly. There were 8 of us in the group and we rode up to the zip lines in a van. We had all zipped before, except for a your girl. There was a suspension bridge and 6 zip-lines. Unfortunately the the longest was only 660', and we all wanted longer runs. It was a fun day and if you have never zipped before you will really enjoy it.
