Great place, very friendly service & GREAT wine. We were traveling through the area and they also had great local recommendations for fun stuff to do & places to eat.

Stop for a visit and sample the great wines. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you ever have the opportunity to attend a fund raiser at this location make it a priority or if your group wants to use the location you would love itThe winery is in just a pole building. Nothing fancy but worth the trip

This winery is in a warehouse near the river in Clarkston. We were a group of 20 that went tasting. We were given a brief tour and for $5 each we were able to taste 5 wines. The two gals manning the tasting room were very sweet and helpful. We had fun and the wines were good.

Basalt has become a destination for us. Their wines are WORLD CLASS. We have been customers for the last 6 years and will continue to be. Tasting room hosts, Holly & Leesha, couldn't be more fun. We just bought the last of the '08 Cab Franc. Sorry you missed it!We like to call the place our easternmost eastern Washington winery. DO NOT miss this winery on the way to or from the Walla Walla area, or as we like to call it, The New Napa!

This place is probably about as small as Washington State wineries get; one of the two owners was our host and tour guide and it was very clear that she personally participated in the winemaking process from crushing grapes to bottling their product. There was no one else around the afternoon we dropped in and our host took the time to explain the nuances of the wines we were sampling so it was a lot more of a learning experience than just tasting a couple of varieties. We happen to be fond of dry reds and came away buying a couple, but there was absolutely no pressure to do so. Their 2007 Perimeter Red is outstanding if you're looking for a bottle as a gift or for a special occasion. Overall, It was a pleasurable way to relax and spend an hour just across the road from the hustle and bustle of Walmart and Costco.

Great service, good selection, wonderful wine. I suggest the wine club. It saves you money and gets you to try different wines ever so often.

I only like about 1/3 of their reds, but the service is absolutely top notch. They don't rush you at all, there is no pressure to buy, and they make sure that you're happy.

This hidden gem in Clarkston is fun to visit if you have a few minutes to spare in a rather dead place for tourists. They have a very reasonable wine tasting with fee waved if you buy a bottle. The small shop has some fun gifts. The Riverport Brewery is right next door so if your partner isn't into wine, there's an interesting alternative! Their wine club is flexible and reasonable and they have great "event" evenings for members to pick up their latest selection...wine, delicious appetizers, and music. It was really fun. (I sound like I'm an employee, but I am not!) The Comfort Inn nearby offers a special wine-lovers package so you don't have to drive home after the events if you don't want to.
