I lived in Korea for three years and one of the things I miss most is the Korean sauna experience. This lived up to my expectations. The scrub was excellent... as good as any in Korea. The facility is clean with a lot of variety. I'll definitely go again next time I'm in Seattle.

I have never been to a better spa. This is a full service Day Spa with several energy rooms, a relaxing lounge area, whirlpools of varying temperatures, steam room and sauna, all available for your use with the basic entrance fee of $37 (specials are occasionally available). We did the Korean Body Scrub and Basic Facial (the Glowing Package) and loved both services. The is a ladies only salon and no swimsuits or other clothing are allowed once in the spa. There are robes and towels issued by the spa but if you are uncomfortable with nudity, then you won't want this Spa. The clientele are women of all ages, sizes and shapes and we were not at all uncomfortable with being in the whirlpools naked. The facility is immaculate -- the cleanest I have ever been in. Overall this is the best value Day Spa I have encountered in my travels through the US and the world.

This spa has a delightful set up to destress your day and pamper yourself! With different temp pools, steam rooms and a variety of other purposes and temperatures rooms your sure to find what you need to relax. Add in a mani or pedi it a massage and your set! Caution though...... If your not comfortable naked you may need to think twice. They provide a robe and towel but expect you to leave them in the cubbie when you hit the pools room.

My spa experience was wonderful -- from the hot and cold pools (where yes, one is naked) to the body scrubs and moisturizing to the hot and cold rooms and finally to the more traditional spa services (deep-tissue massage in my case). I had excellent treatments throughout. Moreover, lunch was very good -- excellent Korean food and all patrons are from the spa, so you do not need to change out of your robe. Plan to stay at the spa for at least 3-4 hours to be able to take in the pools, cold/hot rooms, and the tea service ($5), which come along with your spa services. Also, do not be put off by the mall-strip location. They need a LOT of space to provide room for all of the treatments and not to feel crowded. It is beautiful inside!

The Olympus Spa is a beautifully designed, warm wet paradise in the Korean tradition, with a variety of special beauty services available. For me it was pure self-indulgence at an affordable $35 for (up to) 3 hours in a heaven of heat, warm water and tranquility with great views of the awesome variability of a normal human female body. I took my adult niece and we showered, soaked, bounced in several temperature pools, relaxed and meditated in the salt room, the charcoal room, the cool mountain room, wet and dry saunas, the hot room for reading, etc, soaked and showered some more, tried the foot massage machines, drank cold juice, smiled at each other in total amazed delight. I felt renewed for a couple of days after that experience. Whether you're a spa aficionado or not, you owe yourself a morning here.

I had another terrific visit to the spa. My friend and I went on a Saturday night around 5:30. We got move and toasty I'm the sand room and salt room. We cooled down in the log cabin room before having a fantastic dinner. I had dol sot bibim bap and my friend had a noodle dish. The food was good, quick and reasonably priced. The total bill for us both with tax and tip was $30.After dinner we repeated the heated rooms and then headed for the baths. We spent a little time in the hottest pool, cooled down in the cold water, then just chatted for awhile in the warm pool. I ended the day around 9:30 in the steam sauna. I felt like my $38 entry fee was well spent. The spa is well maintained and has a great atmosphere. I know a lot of people have issues with the no swimsuit rule, but it's great not to have to bother with one. I was very worried about the nudity on my first visit, but I felt comfortable after 10 minutes or so. I love to get a body scrub here, but only do so every few visits. It's too spendy for me to do every visit. Overall, it's a great place to spend a few hours relaxing in the heat.

I have found no other spa in the US that compares to the Olympus. It defies comparison, really. The water pools, healing rooms, relaxation area, and restaurant provide a day of relaxation unlike no other. A must is the scrub followed by the moisturizer - you will not believe how wonderful this experience is and how soft your skin is for days afterwards! This is one of my favorite places on the planet, and I would be a regular there if I did not live so far away.

I went to the Tacoma location. This was my first time at a Korean spa and it was a great experience. After my initial reluctance to parade around naked, I enjoyed myself and had an enjoyable time unwinding. I loved that they offer a cafe within the all-women spa.

Get naked and let the Korean ladies do their magic! I've been going to Olympus Spa for manyyears and it's the best. No swim suits allowed and your hair must be under their cloth cap. Keepsthe facility very clean. It's not cheap, like it used to be, but it's still well worth it. You can just enjoy the water, saunas and rooms but I think a scrub it a must. It's like you're a piece of meat that needs total exfoliation. You're plopped down on the white vinyl and it's all business. The ladies chat (in Korean) and laugh and you loose layers of skin. It's wonderful! You will not end up as soft anywhere else. If you can handle the businesslike attitude rather than delicate pampering, it will make all other spas seem foo foo. For more pampering add the warm oil, milk and honey along with "salad face" after the scrub. It's awesome. The massages are not Korean style, just regular massage, but the several I've had were above average. Wish I had a Korean Ladies Spa where I live.

This is a great place to reward yourself taking a day or a half day off. I used to live in Seattle and enjoyed a rewarding day by enjoying spa, reading books, and having snack. I live in Ann Arbor, MI, and don't have this kind of facility and miss it so much! Korean ladies scrabbing bodies are a kind of rough to my Japanese standard, but it is ok. That is their culture. When I come to Seattle once a year, I come to this place. This is one of "the best spots" in Seattle area. Enjoy !

The Olympus is a nice cheep way to get the spa experience without frills. Don't expect a trip to Canyon Ranch. Note, I am a regular visitor to the Olympus Spa (about 1xs/Month) and am more than pleased with the experience because I know what I am getting. It is generally well kept and clean--however, on my most recent visit there were a number of broken facilities including one of the hot tubs and the waterfall. Additionally, there are days of the week to avoid because when it is overbooked it is not very enjoyable (Saturday mornings and late afternoons are too crowded and noisy). Nice bonus is the attached cafe that serves great Korean food.

Each time I go I can let go of life a little bit more. With each passing hour spent in a hot tub, sauna, or in a warm room you get further from reality. It's such a great tradition and it really soothes the soul.My advice to other women: - Some people are there for peace and quiet. Please don't ruin the experience of others with your endless conversations. Keep it brief. Enjoy yourselves.- Please put a towel down in the saunas. The staff keeps the place clean and I'm sure everything is disinfected nightly, but how much can they control it when ladies aren't being responsible or respectful, let alone smart about their health?- Leave your cell phone in the car or in your bag. Last weekend there was a girl sitting in the back lobby with her iphone. Meanwhile ladies were all around, half dressed. Never dawning on her that she was essentially holding a camera up in what is supposed to be a safe environment. Staff saw this and corrected it immediately, but this was very poor form. - Bring a water bottle or two! Freeze it half empty the night before and you'll be golden.-

This is a great choice for an all women spa. I have been here several times and it is my 2nd favorite place for sure. Be prepared to pay for the experience, but know that you will completely forget about all the money you spent after a couple services. A downfall for me is that this place isn't open on Sunday which seems to be the day I like to go to a spa.

This is an all women's spa. For those who never been to this kind of spa might be shy at first but after you plunged into the warm pool, you will feel so relax. Try their body scrub and body moisturizer. They're amazing!! Go on weekday morning when they first open at 9:AM. If you buy two services or more, it will take a few hours to finish. I usually go there in morning at 9AM and leave around 2PM.
