Gorgeous spot to sit and watch the sun set. It's pretty popular locally, so there will be quite a few people walking around, but it's a very relaxed vibe. The lighthouse is very pretty and the area is really well maintained. A must if you're in the area!

We enjoyed the see view and dinning on the waterfront. We were lucky to catch a farmers market the day we went down the park. Fun to watch the ferries come I and out of the port.

Sunsets, ferry pics, playground, little beach area, fun little ice cream shop, Ivar's right on the edge...even a farmer's market on Wednesday in the summer. We live about 10 minutes from here so we love to meander down for sunsets here and there, and the spot is so pretty. Occasionally we walk on the ferry to ride across to Whidbey and back, just to enjoy the view. Gorgeous and peaceful.

It was a sunny day in February and lots of people out and about. It was cool but the park has fire pits to keep one warm. People are friendly and if you love dogs, this is a great spot.

Even the the light house was closed for tours when we went it was still beautiful to look at. We spent a whole hour just walking on the beach and in the park. I would definitely visit again

Ferry Loop Lighthouse Tour (an all day adventure)!! This is one tour we often make when friends or family come to visit us in Seattle for a week. We have always gone on weekdays, so I don't know how the weekends would be. It's along one of our favorite scenic routes in the Puget Sound area. (We sometimes travel the reverse for variety on our part). 1 - Starting in Edmonds, WA, it's breakfast at Chantrelle (Dinner in the reverse) http://www.chanterellewa.com/Menus.html Hop aboard the Edmonds Ferry to Kingston, then follow Hwy 104W to Hwy 101N and get off at the Port Townsend exit & take Hwy 20 all the way to Fort Worden State Park & POINT WILSON LIGHTHOUSE. Then back to town for some strolling along Water Ave and then it's "Waterfront Pizza" for Lunch!! Go upstairs and dine-in (caution: it's warm up there in the summer). 2 - Take the Port Townsend Ferry to Coupeville, WA. Head West toward Fort Casey State Park & follow the signs to ADMIRALTY HEAD LIGHTHOUSE. Then either adventure along Fort Casey Road to Hwy 20S, which becomes the 525, toward Clinton or just reverse yourself out of Ft. Casey back toward the Ferry Port and continue on Hwy 20E the 525S to Clinton.3 - Take the Clinton Ferry to Mukilteo and the MUKILTEO LIGHTHOUSE. We like to enjoy dinner at Diamond Knot brewery (if you're not pizza'd out, they have excellent pies). Then stroll out along the water for a little campfire. Well, that's our all day Lighthouse/Ferry tour with meal suggestions!

This is such a beautiful park - especially during sunset, or at night. The park is so well taken care of. During the main tourist season (April to September) you can get a tour on the weekends. The docents will be happy to answer all your questions. Make sure you visit the gift shop - toys, gifts, cards, great T shirts, books, and accessories to decorate your home. In December there are special hours to shop. It's a delight to see the lighthouse illuminated, even Santa is way up there!

The lighthouse beauty can be enjoyed all season, but access to the interior to view historical accounts is not available Nov-Apr. Still, this .little gem sits next to the ferry terminal on the water looking across at Whidbey Island with a nice adjacent park area, so trips are not wasted.

This is a good, safe place to bring kids. There are lots of families. Swings and monkey bars in an easily observable play area. Beach access, but not really for wading or swimming-- too cold, too swift of current. Fire pits. Picnic tables. Clean rest rooms. Plenty of parking. Always something to see-- other people, boats, mountains, sunsets, an occasional seal. You can sit and watch the kids burn out energy before you pack them back into the car. Nearby walk-up windows for ice cream.

Visible from the ferry to Clinton the lighthouse park is often overlooked as a destination. It is well worth the time, especially in spring and summer.

This park has become our go to place for building a fire and enjoying the closeness to the water and watch the beautiful sunsets. They remodeled this park several years ago and put in new restrooms and covered patio tables with BBQ's. Go early if your looking for a fire pit as they go quickly.

It's just a two minutes' walk from the Silver Cloud Inn in Mukilteo, Washington. This is where Captan George Vancouver landed a small craft on the shoreline in May 1792. The building was closed when we were there but still enjoyable to walk around the park, quiet ad peaceful.

We had some time, and we love lighthouses, so decided to go see the Mukilteo Lighthouse. It is easy to find and we were unaffected by the ferry traffic. There is ample parking and the park is a nice place to get out to walk around. The lighthouse and beautiful Puget Sound provide nice backdrops for family photos. It so quiet and peaceful, that we sat on a bench and watched at least three ferries come and go. A seal bobbed in/out of the water close to where we sat. There is a boat launch and a few concrete fire pits for those that might enjoy that. Walking is easy on a paved pathway for a portion of the walk or you could walk a lot further on the sandy beach. Scattered drift wood logs along the path again add nice props for family photos. We spent about 2 hours there -- the time seemed to tick by quietly. We took lots of pictures and we all really enjoyed our time there. There is a brew pub in the same parking lot, but we were all to full to give it a try. It looked really nice though. Even with a ferry docked, and emptying out, the traffic was not an issue. The visit to the lighthouse was so enjoyable that my family wanted me to write a review for Trip Advisor. We found it to be one of the highlights of our visit to Mukilteo.

Driving just down the hill from Boeing was worth the drive to make a quick stop at this park. Lighthouses are always a favorite of ours when we have the time.
