We spend nearly every weekend at Rattlesnake Lake. It is one of our favorite places. Swimming, picnicking, BBQs, etc. Tons of stuff to do. It's well-kept, safe and clean. The only bad thing is - the secret is out and it's starting to get more and more crowded every summer.

This small lake is a treasure in that it is just outside North Bend, two miles from Interstate 90. The area is well known for local hiking (Rattlesnake Mountain), but one should not overlook the lake. The water is clean and cool. There beach area is also rocky and clean. This was a very nice place to hold a birthday party for young teenagers. The drawback is the parking can be limited and with good weather, this place is no secret for the locals. This is an excellent place to visit on a hot week day. Another treat is that there is no charge.
